After wasting a lot of time trying to find out why it would not connect, I found that the app they recommend was the wrong one. You need the app called “iPrint&Label”. It is a pain to use, but I guess it is better than the old manual one, though it still wastes tape as I expected, since that is how all printers make their money. Most of the wasted tape is at the left. If you set your text as far as you can to the left, it will still leave an inch and a half of blank tape when it prints, and there seems to be no way to stop that. ... show more

    • Using this with my iPad Pro and the label that is produced is 10/10.
The software included with the label printer is extremely limited. I didn't have time to explore alternatives, but that is on the to-do list.

I wish I had bought this years ago. Getting my craft/ office/ sewing room using this to label is the best!! It’s small enough to take from room to room, easy phone set up , several fonts to chose from. I have used it all over the house and love it!

The advancements in technology and accessibility are bridging the gap between sighted and blind individuals. My specialized blind labeler recently bit the dust and I wasn’t looking forward to replacing it. Labels are ridiculously expensive and companies who specialize in accessible tech will overprice their products to extremes. Knowing the P-Touch Cube was app controlled was a huge leap over previous QWERTY labelers. The app is completely accessible and works well with voice over. The UI is a bit clunky, but gets easier each use. I can label all my stuff like before and use phone to describe label. Cartridges are easy to change, labels are a bit wasteful on unused tape.
