If you take the time to get on the Sleep Foundation website and read about beds, this is a highly rated mattress. At $1700. This is a 2 year old model and it's about the same. The part I like best is it has foam on the bottom, under the springs and it does make a difference. I have been building my own beds for years with slabs of latex. This is my 1st "real" bed and I researched it till I found the right one. I was unwilling to pay $1700. In walks this beauty....omg, don't think twice and forget what the other person said about weighing more than 250. I don't sink and nothing hurts my rather awful autoimmune problem. I am in love. Yes, it smells when it 1st comes out of the plastic and the "cooling" top feels wet to touch (it's NOT wet) but all of it goes away in 2 days. If you are sensitive to smells I suggest letting this mattress air out for 2 days.

The media could not be loaded. This is probably one of the best mattress that you can buy out there for the price!!! I had been to many 5 stars Resort and Hotel and slept on some of the best Hotel Mattress which are very expensive ranging from $3k-$5k. But after I bought a Mattress from Brooklyn Bedding from Wayfair for about the same price as here, I was impressed by how it is compared to the expensive mattress that I have slept on! AND IT IS MADE IN THE USA which is almost impossible to find these days! 😁😁😁 If you love soft plush mattress then just buy this one and you will love it!!! It is the opposite of the tempurpedic which is for people with back pain!

I called Brooklyn Bedding and they confirmed this would be considered a medium-firm mattress even though the listing here says firm.. I needed a FIRM mattress not a close to firm mattress. RETURNS - the return policy is a bit convoluted. You do not return the mattress you Donate the mattress to a charity to get a refund. Good Luck with that after Covid - I was supremely lucky and the Salvation Army agreed to take the mattress in because I showed then my receipt and that the mattress was indeed new. I ended up getting a Brooklyn Bedding PLANK mattress which is ridiculously good and has a FIRM side and an EXTRA Firm side I love this mattress and it was exactly what I would recommend to anyone who wants a truly firm mattress.

I did extensive research before deciding on my new Brooklyn plush hybrid mattress. When you buy a mattress on-line, you have to be savvy and know what you want and put the time in on making the best decision. Even so, it's a leap of faith. I am thrilled to report that all my work has paid off! I have found THE perfect bed for me. This might be the perfect bed for you, too, if, like me, you need a plush top to cuddle aching joints and to ease lower back pain, but also require medium-firm underpinnings. It's ideal for me as a side and back sleeper, and moving and turning over is so much easier than it was on my other hybrid. There is no downside to this mattress for me. Might not be ideal for a big or tall man. And if you like the feel of a really firm bed, it might be more plush than you prefer. If you are like me, though, blissful nights of cozy, comforting sleep await. Guaranteed.
