I can go outside or into the garage without a flashlight. The band adjust to fit and is comfortable. I like the way it frees up your hands so you can concentrate on work. I have not exhausted the rechargeable battery yet, so they last pretty good. But, I got the two pack, just in case. A good value.

    • Holy cow this is blindingly bright! Super Bright
To start with.... holy cow this thing is bright! It comes with a warning "avoid direct shining in eyes of people and animals as it could cause instantaneous blindness" , I am not joking. It is bright, it has a band of "induction LED" lights, which I don't know what the induction part is, but it is really bright and has 3 intensity settings. The head band is also equipped with a side flashlight style light that also works well. It charges from a USBC plug so no wasting batteries, you can recharge which is nice. The down side... the LED band heats up if you use it for more than just a few minutes and that is uncomfortable as it is on you forehead. SO far I love it, we will see how long the battery lasts, but man it is almost too bright to use if you are camping, it def leaves tracers in your vision after using in darkens.,. and of course, you don't want to blind your friends and animals. Is great for night cycling as it lights up everything and creates undeniable visibility to cars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Firstly I bought this light for work, and it straps perfectly to my hard hat no problems. I might secure it with some zip ties or clips but who knows. This thing is one of those big things that comes in small packages. It's super lightweight, but feels sturdy, like it can take a few hard licks before failing. The four main brightness settings are all super useful, but my biggest gripe is the battery life. On max power (light bar) the literature says it'll die in 2 1/2 hours, which means 2 hours (most likely) The other gripe I have but isn't really a big one, is why does this have a strobe setting?? Makes no sense to me. The only thing I can think of is for a survival rescue situation in which case you could just wave ur hand over the beam so I dunno. The good news is that the strobe isn't one of the sequential settings, which is why it's not a bigger gripe of mine. It's off on its own as a "hold down till you have a seizure" setting. Since I'll need more than two hours in a go, I'll likely overcome its poor battery life by buying a second one to charge while the first runs down, since it's built quality and price makes that totally worth while ... show more

I really love this light. It is light weight and comfortable. The COB LED strip is very bright and shines evenly over a broad area. The option to turn it on/off with a wave of the hand is really handy. An unadvertised feature is that once it is on for about 10 seconds, pressing the button once turns it off. With most light you have to toggle through the numerous brightness settings before you get to "off". Some people are complaining about the LED strip coming unglued and the head band getting too hot. I'm not sure why but I think this thing might have been redesigned. The perimeter of the LED strip is captured by the opening in the headband (which I believe is silicone rubber). I can't see how it could detach. The band gets slightly warm at the brightest setting, but no way would I describe it as hot. My only small complaint is that the spotlight LED mounted on the side reflects off the inside of my eyeglasses. But I don't think I will use it since the strip LED is more than adequate. ... show more
