This convertible car seat accommodates up to 50 lbs when installed rear-facing, allowing your child to ride rear-facing longer. It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. The baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit, and the removable infant insert provides extra comfort on the go. The car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver technology designed to fit 3-across without compromising on Britax safety and premium comfort. The car seat boasts a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. The media could not be loaded. We love britax! This was the best choice for our toddler. We are a sports family who is always on the road. And we travel 12+ hrs to a destination. Its built with all steel framing that is what we were looking for and this is what we got. It is super easy to install and adjust. The safety is the best when it comes to britax. I will say that installing this car seat at first was a bit difficult and confusing for me, but I watch Britax’s video tutorials on youtube which helped. Now that I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times, I find it very easy. I love the click tight under the seat, it works great. The car seat is so secure and doesn’t move an inch. I find the adjustments very easy to use as well. It is very cute, and fits decently in my compact sedan (Chevy Cruze). It seems pretty comfy too. I, thankfully, can’t actually attest to the safety of this car seat, but Britax is highly rated in that department from what I’ve read. And I did a lot of reading before making my purchase. Overall, I really do like this car seat and recommend it. First time installation was difficult, but once you figure it out it is much easier. 👍🏻 ... show more

I am impressed at the quality of the car seat. It is definitely heavier (sturdier) so you won’t be lugging it around but it is by far the best car seat around. The shoulder pads and the buckle pad are thick. It is very easy to tighten and loosen. Baby fits in it perfectly. The install is SUPERIOR to any other car seat. I feel confident knowing that the car seat will protect baby in case anything happens. I will never buy a different brand of car seat again. I know there are a few that convert into booster seats but I don’t think it is worth sacrificing the safety that is needed when they’re younger. Booster seats are inexpensive. I’d rather purchase this one that fits and protects nicely in the first few years of life, and then later on purchase a booster. I love that baby is able to rear face longer as well. There is a level on it too so you know when you have the car seat reclined just right. ... show more

We’ve been using the Britax Poplar S for a little while now, and overall, it’s a fantastic car seat! The materials feel high-quality, and the steel-reinforced frame gives me confidence in its safety. I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the weight, but honestly, that’s to be expected—it has a steel base for added protection! If you want a lightweight car seat, you’ll likely be sacrificing durability and safety. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the harness straps can be a bit difficult to tighten. It takes a little extra effort to get them snug, which can be frustrating at times. Otherwise, the seat is comfortable, easy to install, and a great space-saving option for smaller vehicles. Definitely recommend! ... show more

Our 12 month old loves his new car seat. We transitioned to this car seat after using the Clek liing infant car seat, which we also really liked. We researched the current options throughly and settled on this one because of crash test performance, the fact that no flame retardants are used, and the slim design. There was no smell to the materials on unboxing and it was very easy to install. The seat fits in our sedan well and our son looks very comfortable when sitting in it. I also like the peace of mind with the anti rebound bar. I am very happy with this purchase and I feel that it is an excellent value considering the quality of the materials and the features of this car seat for the price point. Love this car seat! The color is beautiful and the install was the easiest I’ve ever done! The click tight is where it’s at! My baby is 7 months old and small for his age, but we wanted to switch from the bucket seat because he was getting too heavy to carry around in it. I’m really glad we chose this car seat.
