I purchased this for display on a blanket ladder. I have other peachy pink decor and wanted to pick up the color. I would call this a neutral or slightly warm pink. Definitely not a cool pink, at least not on my environment. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as it is thin and I can see it catching and pulling easily if used regularly or if pets get at it. I did not find it to have any strong scent directly out of the packaging. I did not wash it but did spray it with wrinkle release and run through the dryer on low for 15 mins. Ordered this blanket after ordering and receiving the new bedding set. I wanted to lay for a nap and didn’t want to use the comforter. I wanted a light throw blanket. I’ve officially now hit the old lady phase lol. I wanted one that was lightweight soft and matched the sheets as then I could have the blanket drape the end of the bed. This is sooo what I wanted and envisioned. The blue matches the sheets, lays perfect at the end of the bed, it has that old fashioned knitted feel and look. He loved it. Everything about it including the orangeness. His fav colour. So that's a wrap. Pun intended. I had originally ordered another one but when it came in, no no no. I was too thin, awful, too itchy, just no. So I hunted again and finally found this one and it seemed perfect in the picture. Not that one can really tell looking at it shrunk wrapped, sucked up in a tiny flat as a pancake plastic bag. I almost threw it in the trash. Why the heck do they do that? But I kept peering at it trying to imagine it unsucked ...in my mind...back to its fluffy soft blanket normal, you know and it seemed so perfect in the photograph. So that's what I gave him.
