Our toddler started in a Graco car seat that felt cheaply made. We saw that this car seat was on sale, so we decided to switch. Now our toddler wants to go on car rides. She still can’t sleep comfortably though, because her head hangs down. Sadly, the recline feature doesn’t do much when it is forward facing. In rear facing, the recline is pretty good, but our kid is too big for rear facing. Additionally, this seat is well made. Great quality and it is cushiony. I read the reviews about it moving after installation, we had no issues in our compact SUV. I will say that it took some muscle to get it installed though. I had to have my husband lean hard into it so that it would be in properly. I wouldn’t recommend if you are planning to switch vehicles often as it is heavy. It felt heavier than 30lbs to me. We are keeping it in our vehicle and we don’t use the middle seat, so it works great for our family. ... show more

    • It's expensive - but when it comes to my child it's worth it

A solid carseat that grows with your child. I preferred a dedicated infant seat when my child was younger but starting between 1-2 years this seat works great. You can't ignore the price - it's expensive, and it really should be cheaper--and for that I can't give it 5 stars. The chair is solid and quite large so make sure you have enough room like in an SUV... a smaller car, I don't know. It was very easy to install and once everything is sinched down it doesn't go anywhere. I sprung for the anti-roll bar for extra protection but again that was pricey, especially when I believe there is a competitor that includes it (though theirs is plastic while this one is steel which is another reason I went this route). The cool n dry fabric seems to do what it's designed for... it's a little hard to tell since my child is not old enough to know or express the difference - but again, an added cost to an already expensive chair. I'd like to believe my child is safer in this chair but there is no real independent testing to tell you for sure and I sure hope I never have to find out for myself.     • So much room!!! EASY INSTALL!!!
I want to give this five stars, I really do. However, there's one problem I have and not sure if this is typical with this brand or if the car seat I received is defective. Pros: the seat is the easiest car seat to install, ever! It's a breeze and I no longer get sweaty and flustered, and lose my temper...ha! It takes 1 minute or less to install! Next, the seat has tons of leg room and extra padding to support the head, so the head of the child doesn't flop right and left when they fall asleep. It's super comfortable and I feel like my child is better protected in the head area. The cup holders are nice and make a great place for stashing teethers! Cons: the seat belt straps are incredibly hard to get adjusted and snug against my child. I have had several car seats and the belts/straps have all flowed smoothly and were easy to get tight/snug around my child. This seat is different though and I have to really pull hard, several times, before the belt feels even remotely close to where it should be, and even then I'm not sure it's tight enough which leaves me worried. The material the belt is made of is very different from other brands of car seats, so I'm wondering if that's what is causing the belt to be so difficult to get tight. Overall, I do prefer this car seat to our last one because the seat stays locked into the correct position in the car and doesn't start sliding around with movement from the child, like our previous car seat did. I’m obsessed with this car seat! I’ve never had a car seat this nice, the seatbelt threading through the click tight makes it so it doesn’t move at all! All the pieces are able to come over and be washed in the washer as well!

The media could not be loaded. Incredible car seat! This is my fourth child and I’ve never had a Britax before, mainly due to their higher priced products. In the past, I would purchase an infant car seat, then a toddler seat, then a high back booster, and lastly a booster for the final stage of childhood car riding. I AM SO GLAD I PURCHASED THIS CAR SEAT! The steel frame made me hesitant to buy, bc I will be switching between cars, but the click-tight feature completely erased that from my mind. Who cares if I have to transfer the car seat back and forth when the install is so easy it could bring you to happy tears. The recline feature is top notch- my child has cerebral palsy and I want to utilize rear-facing as long as possible. You don’t have to disassemble the car seat in order to make adjustments. I’m worried about it being wide, but I will update this review after installing, switching back and forth between cars, and a few car rides. ... show more

We love Britax click on for life. This is our second one to put in another car. We love the comfort it provides for our kids. They love sitting in it. It thick and heavy, which provides optimal safety and ease of parents minds. It is super easy to install and installs very securely compared to other brands. The only down side is that it’s heavy - although I prefer it heavier for safety reasons. I highly recommend this product! ... show more
