But if you are giving your guest water from this then it will last you like 2 months. it's worth the money what isn't if it's for your health right. Got the pitcher as a gift, after the stock filter needed to be changed I bought this 3 pack. It LL be the second replacement now and my thoughts are that the water improved from the tap water, the thing is that they only last 2 months (3 months cap), past this period you can feel the difference. The filter is pretty expensive for a short run and construction, it's a piece of plastic with a layer of coal and paper. It's still cheaper than buying bottled/purified water.
