This is my second pellet smoker. This first was a Pit Boss. It was ok but now I needed something bigger and more consistent. The Brisk it Grill exceeded my expectations. The cooking surface is deeper not just wider. The fire pot is located in the center with a heat baffle above it. There are no hot spots! The smoke and heat comes over the sides of the huge grease catcher. It’s not in my pics but I placed a thermometer while cooking and moved it to deferent locations and the heat didn’t vary more than a couple of degrees. Hotter up top. But more importantly the temp was never more than 4 degrees off of my set temperature whenever I checked. Control panel was simple and easy to use. Turn the knob and press it. Priming took about 5 minutes and temp of 225 was reached in about 12 minutes. Construction and design is something to appreciate. The smoker is heavy. The metal looks and feels sturdy. Side mounted tray to the hopper lid, solid. The brisk it smoker has a ash and grease collection system that is out of sight. This gives it a really clean appearance plus it’s simple to use and easy to clean. Assembly was straight forward with easy to understand instructions and all tools needed is included. . A second set of hands would be helpful but I was able to knock it out in just under an hour. I’m fairly handy. The brisket I made came out pretty good for my first try. Nice color and smoky. It was juicy in the thicker parts not as juicy at the thinner side but not dry. Not the smokers fault. I could’ve pulled it off sooner. I also let it rest wrapped in a towel for 2 hours. I didn’t use the Brisk It pellets. It wasn’t available on Amazon when I purchased the smoker. It’s available now and it’s on its way. I’ll smoke another brisket when the pellets arrive. So I’ll review the pellets then. ... show more

The briskit is now my new favorite smoker on the market! You are able to track temperatures directly from your phone via their app, making it so much easier to control your cooks. The app also gives you access to a ton of different recipes to try out. I made a small batch of wings the other day, and they came out perfectly. My husband smoked a 22 pound brisket for 17 hours using these pellets and he was happy with the outcome. These oak pellets left a good smoked flavor in the meat. He used about half the bag to smoke the brisket.

The Brisk It 580 is a great pellet grill that makes cooking great BBQ easy. The grill went together great, and the Brisk It app downloaded easily, and the grill connected to my home wifi and phone seamlessly. I used the Innogrill feature to make Brisket and the app guided me through every step to make the best brisket I have ever made. Clean up is easy with the use of the pull out grease drawer - that has two disposable foil pans for both easy grease and ash removal. The technology that is incorporated into the grill is easy to use and extremely helpful. The pellets themselves are very long. Not all but quite a few. On my grill when I have used extra long pellets like this, they seem to interlock and not fall through the feed grate. Pellet dust in the bag was nominal, probably less then expected due to shipping. Overall they probably will work well for most people, but I am wary due to the size of the pellet ... show more

Assembly was very straightforward, but I would recommend having someone help you due to the size/weight of the smoker (which is a good thing, but more on that later). I have been using smokers for years, but never an automated wood pellet version. Very simple process vs charcoal. Temperature control is spot on and I never noticed a deviation from target temp of more than three (3) degrees. Finished product of the 25 lb brisket we prepared was nothing short of amazing! Great crust and very juicy. This product is very well made and is heavy. Hoping this means it'll last longer than other grills owned in the past. The wifi/app are very intuitive to use. Great product and would recommend to anyone in the market as a great value compared to some competitors that are twice the money!! ... show more

I have been wanting to make some amazing bbq style meals and a friend recommended this smoker to me! I do not have any experience making any type of BBQ Btw! After ordering through Amazon, It arrived pretty quickly and the setup wasn’t so bad. Took about a few hours to set it up, the manual was pretty straightforward. What’s amazing about this grill is that you can connect it to your phone to control everything! It even tells you the issue or if your food is ready. I just love how I can turn it off and on anywhere at any time. After we set up the grill, we had some trouble starting the grill up and the hickory pellets were burning too slowly. The grill provided the issue on the screen and my phone. The customer service representatives were amazing and quick to provide us feedback to resolve the issue and we were able to use the grill after with no problem. There are recipes on the downloaded app that we followed. The food turned out amazing! Will recommend this smoke grill to everyone! ... show more
