This is my second pellet smoker. This first was a Pit Boss. It was ok but now I needed something bigger and more consistent. The Brisk it Grill exceeded my expectations. The cooking surface is deeper not just wider. The fire pot is located in the center with a heat baffle above it. There are no hot spots! The smoke and heat comes over the sides of the huge grease catcher. It’s not in my pics but I placed a thermometer while cooking and moved it to deferent locations and the heat didn’t vary more than a couple of degrees. Hotter up top. But more importantly the temp was never more than 4 degrees off of my set temperature whenever I checked. Control panel was simple and easy to use. Turn the knob and press it. Priming took about 5 minutes and temp of 225 was reached in about 12 minutes. Construction and design is something to appreciate. The smoker is heavy. The metal looks and feels sturdy. Side mounted tray to the hopper lid, solid. The brisk it smoker has a ash and grease collection system that is out of sight. This gives it a really clean appearance plus it’s simple to use and easy to clean. Assembly was straight forward with easy to understand instructions and all tools needed is included. . A second set of hands would be helpful but I was able to knock it out in just under an hour. I’m fairly handy. The brisket I made came out pretty good for my first try. Nice color and smoky. It was juicy in the thicker parts not as juicy at the thinner side but not dry. Not the smokers fault. I could’ve pulled it off sooner. I also let it rest wrapped in a towel for 2 hours. I didn’t use the Brisk It pellets. It wasn’t available on Amazon when I purchased the smoker. It’s available now and it’s on its way. I’ll smoke another brisket when the pellets arrive. So I’ll review the pellets then.

I have been wanting to make some amazing bbq style meals and a friend recommended this smoker to me! I do not have any experience making any type of BBQ Btw! After ordering through Amazon, It arrived pretty quickly and the setup wasn’t so bad. Took about a few hours to set it up, the manual was pretty straightforward. What’s amazing about this grill is that you can connect it to your phone to control everything! It even tells you the issue or if your food is ready. I just love how I can turn it off and on anywhere at any time. After we set up the grill, we had some trouble starting the grill up and the hickory pellets were burning too slowly. The grill provided the issue on the screen and my phone. The customer service representatives were amazing and quick to provide us feedback to resolve the issue and we were able to use the grill after with no problem. There are recipes on the downloaded app that we followed. The food turned out amazing! Will recommend this smoke grill to everyone!

This “Brisk It Origin-580 Wood Pellet Grill Smoker Grill, WiFi Smart Grill with PID Controller, Pellet Smoker for 580 sq in Cooking Area Outdoor Cooking BBQ, Two Boxes” is actually 2 packs of 20lb each of some “Oak” wood pellets. These pellets are not bad, burnt pretty hot, and burnt pretty clean. I used them on my ooni pizza oven as well as my pitboss 1000xl pellet smoker. They did pretty good as “smoker” pellets. Good smoke, and create good smoke ring on my meat too. Made in China though, yet they are comparable to the USA made smoker pellets that I typically picked up in my local stores like Traeger’s or Bear Mountain’s or B&B’s. But these “Brisk It” China’s pellets are even more expensive than the USA made ones.
