These have a timer that if you set them say near dusk will run and cut off BUT repeat that setting nightly!!!! We strung the lights around our 10 x 10 canopy and it went around 3 sides. Loved that the lights have different brightness settings and can flash or stay steady. The bulbs are not glass which is perfect for the outside. Really very happy with them!
