Great for point-to-point transferring loads. I would not leave items secured to the rack if you're planning to park your car unattended somewhere. A coin and an Allen Wrench can remove one side enough to force-ably pull the bar from the roof rail. To remove the rack without damage, might take some time because the hex nut under the bar does not allow you to wind the nut continuously without relocating the Allen Wrench every three-quarters of a turn. This is a good deterrent from thieves. All in all, I am happy with the purchase. Not too expensive and I was not looking for a long term solution. I'm able to make trips with an additional loads when necessary.

I purchased these right before cross-country road trip where we were going to be attaching a bag to the top of my car to store some of our stuff. I was pretty nervous about doing that as I had never done it before and I worried about how stable these were going to be in addition to how sturdy the bag was going to be that I was using. In terms of this product, they were very easy to install they do however, it’s not with an actual key somebody could take a coin unlock them and take them off of your vehicle. I guess technically somebody could lift up your car and steal the tires too so the reality is if you live in an area where people want to steal things from you it’s not really the products fault They are very secure and sturdy. They held the bag on with no issues, while we travel from California to Connecticut over the course of a couple weeks. I did not need to tighten them. However, I did check them a couple times just to ensure that there wasn’t any issues from me installing them. Overall, I would say it was a good buy.

It does work great, but I did have an issue after only a few uses, a small part cracked and broke off. I contacted the retailer and the response was awesome! I sent some pictures to them of the broken part and because they were unsure (not them, but it was hard to tell from the photos) they got me on the phone, made sure of what the problem exactly was, and they got my replacement parts out that same day. Service I do not often get these days. The rack is nice and a supplier who stands by what they sell! Yeah, I recommend the rack and the seller!

Upon reviewing this item, I was very happy to find that it listed my specific vehicle model in the product description. Also, the 'amazonconfirmedfit' option confirmed that it fits this vehicle as well. However, despite the product page showing in TWO PLACES that it works for my vehicle, it indeed does not. Both the front and the rear racks do not expand far enough to reach the edges of the mounting point of the roof rails.
