  • Good color match and sturdy. Reduced a star for instructions and gap between the frame and connector
Size: 2016-2022 Silver
Love the color matching the existing grey bar. Fits right; however the instructions were not adequate enough to get the right for the first time. So took a while to have it installed properly. There is a slight gap between the grey bars and the cross bars at all connecting ends which could have been avoided. It is a slight inconvenience due to settlement of dirt and water. Other than the two minor issues, great quality and would recommend. It was fitted on a Honda pilot elite 2019 model. ... show more

  • Looks great!
Size: 2016-2022 Silver
Choose the silver rails for my Pilot Elite because it has silver side rails. Not an exact color match but close enough. Have installed Brightline crossbars on another Pilot to carry a large Yakima Skybox and they performed flawlessly, and expect these to do the same!

  • Great quality at a great price. Works as expected.
Size: 2016-2022 Silver
Similar rack than what the dealer offers. Easy install. About a 30 minute job.

  • No regrets
Size: 2016-2022 Silver
This was somewhat of an "emergency" purchase, as our very expensive Thule mounts seemed to have gone missing just prior to a cross-country road trip. Normally, I'd tend to avoid unknown non-OEM brands, but given our urgency, I really had no choice. As it turns out, these rails performed perfectly and have tuned out to be a regret-free purchase that I'm glad I made! Contrary to some other reviews, I found the length adjustments to be intuitive and not difficult at all. With just minor adjustments, the bars aligned perfectly with the dealer-installed side rails on my wife's 2016 Pilot. At that point, securing them was quick and easy (full disclosure: I did use a ratchet and extension in place of the provided tool), even in the dark, cold and rainy weather. When I first opened the package, my initial thought was that the "silver" color was exceptionally bright and would clash with the silver finish of the car. To my surprise, that was not the case - the difference is actually less noticeable in person than my photos suggest. It's honestly barely noticeable, even when you know you're looking for it. Ultimately, I bought these for a purpose, not for aesthetics; in that sense, they did the job and they did it perfectly. The day after they were installed, we had our 20 cu. ft. carrier attached, loaded to capacity. Our 15-day adventure took us over 7,300 miles through 18 states in just about every weather extreme imaginable. There was not one single issue or concern with these crossbars during the trip, nor have there been since. With the carrier removed, my wife has not noticed any noise or vibration and the bars remain as secure as the day they were installed. I originally intended on removing these when we returned and only using them when we needed the cargo carrier, but my wife actually requested they stay on permanently, as she "likes the look". I feel like I lucked out with this purchase... given more time, I was fully prepared to spend twice the cost (or more) of these on OEM or big-brand crossbars. The quality and performance of the Brightline product have made me glad I didn't make that mistake! ... show more

  • They fit, they work, instructions are useless
Size: 2016-2022 Black
4* based on plastic fitment of covers. Needed to shave corners to make it fit, also, instructions weren’t that good. Took 45 min longer than it should’ve taken me cause instructions were so vague. But it works and was still hell of a lot cheaper than Honda website. Would still recommend

  • These are actually pretty easy to install
Size: 2016-2022 Silver
Bought these for my 2018 Honda Pilot Elite and they fit. Here are my observations: The 8 factory bolts you remove from the vehicle require a Torx T30 bit. The bolts supplied with the crossbars are T25 (in case you don't want to use the supplied Allen wrench to tighten things down. A torque wrench is recommended). These are actually pretty easy to install. The rails are labelled front and back and marked for which side of the rail should face forward. Due to the shape and curvature of the roof the front rail is longer than the rear. Most of installation time is spent messing around adjusting the length of the rails. They adjust on the left and right sides by removing a plastic cap and undoing some screws. For me the rear rail was the easiest to install. I adjusted the length to the maximum setting on both sides and it went right in. It's the front rail that takes time. The left side of the rail doesn't have much travel on it, so I started by adjusting this side as far out as it would go. It's a good idea to keep both plastic caps off the rail until you are done adjusting it, then put them back on before inserting the bolts. It's a good idea to have a second person to help line up the rail on the opposite side to the one you are working on. You might think it looks and fits fine but if you are a fraction off then you'll have a gap and the bolts won't go in. So, in summary 1. It's best to have 2 people to install these 2. Start with the rear rail first as it seems to need less adjustment 3. Pay attention to which is the front and which is the rear rail and which side should face the front. They are all marked 4. Adjust the length of the left side of each rail as far out as it will go then make the fit by adjusting the right side 5. Use a ratchet or, better still, a torque wrench to tighten things down. You'll need an extension bar and a T25 bit to install 6. Allow 30 to 45 minutes to install I got the silver bars and, as others have noted, they are lighter in color than the factory side rails. I can live with it but if you are looking for an exact match look elsewhere (I haven't seen one as an aftermarket accessory). They look good to me and seem like good value for the money ... show more
