  • Great Stock Look
Size: 2013-2018
Purchased these bars within a week of getting my Santa Fe, after looking around on Amazon and other websites, ultimately deciding for the more stock look with these black bars. They feel like good, solid quality, arrived quicker than expected, and were super easy to install. You just remove the cap that hides the hex bolt and loosen the hex bolts until there is enough room to get the bars onto the existing rails and inserted into the holes on the rails, then tighten and replace the caps. My only negative was that one of the caps didn't go back in tightly after I was done, it kind of stuck out loose a little bit. The cap is attached to the bar with some plastic and has two small clips that hold it into place. I was able to bend those clips outward a little more to give it some more "grip" and eventually got it to sit in the hole a little better. Didn't think this was worth knocking off a star though. I was happy to have read one or more reviews first that correctly stated that while they label which bar is the front and rear, they don't tell you which direction they should go. It's a slight difference, but one side (front vs back) is definitely a bit thicker and is shaped almost like an airplane wing. That thicker end should face frontwards. Also when they're on the correct way, when viewed from the side, it kind of has a downward angle towards the back (see photo). I have heard no hum from these bars at any speed, even with the sunroof open -- which also brings me to my next point. At the time of my purchase, there was only one small mention of sunroof compatibility in another comment, and one question answered. So I just want to further confirm that these are fine with the panoramic sunroof of the Hyundai Santa Fe ('13 Limited, in my case). Again, see photo. But note that if you were to add any other accessories to these bars like bike racks or cargo carriers, the hardware used to attach those to your bars could stick down far enough to be hit. All in all very pleased. They added a bit of a sporty look and took away from the minivan sort of feel. The instructions had me place the front bar in the middle of the 3 holes in the Santa Fe's roof rails, but I ended up moving it back to the last hole which made it look just a bit better in my opinion. UPDATE 8/4/17: The only drawback I've come across with these after a year of ownership is that because these don't "stick out" beyond the existing rails like some cross-bars do, combined with the fact that my Santa Fe has stock flush-mount rails (no gap between the rail and the roof), it can be difficult to strap down a ladder or some lumber for a home project, which is the kind of thing I use my cross-bars for mostly. I can wrap a ratcheting strap around the bar and whatever I'm strapping to it all I want, and get it tight enough so it won't go anywhere, but I would like to be able to wrap under/around something on the side of the vehicle for a little extra security from going side to side. This is not possible with the flush rails my car has, so I may end up switching to some bars that protrude beyond the rails (such as Rhinos). ... show more

  • Fits 2017 Santa Fe Sport
Size: 2013-2018
Nice roof cross bars. Installed on 2017 Santa Fe Sport. Low profile design (I hate when the bars are too tall from vehicle roof). About $100 cheaper than factory bars. Easy install. One thing to be aware of--the plastic plugs over the tightening bolts are cheap as stated by another reviewer, but they work. To remove them you stick a small flatpoint screwdriver into slot, gently push inward towards plug, then gently pry out plug. I tell you this because instructions for plug removal are a little confusing. When you put them back in they don't fully seat all the way down, but not that big of deal. They still look nice. Besides this one issue, a great product at a great value. ... show more

  • FITS 2016 Hyundai Sport 2.0T
Size: 2013-2018
Prompt arrival of this crossbar kit. Found bars very easy to install on my 2016 Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo. Didn't read instructions because there are just a few bolts to adjust with the supplied tool (taped to the inside of the box). Pop the plastic caps at the ends of these bars to find the adjustment bolts. I used a finishing nail to do this. For my SUV, the Front Bar went on without any adjustment: a perfect fit. The Rear Bar required a minor change to its length. I made it a bit shorter via the two adjustment screws on the bottom of the bar . . passenger side. Test-fit the bars by placing the ends of a bar into corresponding roof-rack holes. I used the front holes so my car-top carrier would not hit the rear antenna. Finally, tighten the end-bolts until the crossbar doesn't move. NOTE: The bars are marked FRONT and REAR, as well as THIS SIDE FORWARD (stickers). Bars are made of strong, quality material; each mount has a peg which fits into a hole of the roof racks. Only negatives are: 1. Cheap plastic caps that hide the adjustment bolts; 2. No security key/lock feature . . bars are easy to take ON/OFF. But, a great $$-value product. ... show more

  • It Fits!
Size: 2013-2018
It was easy to imstall and fast. Just measure what you are using on top of the racks. So you don't have to take it odd and do it again.

  • OK but overpriced
Size: 2013-2018
Perhaps these crossbars are a lot cheaper than what they would cost from the Hyundai dealer but they still seem very overpriced for what you get. They were easy to install and did work as advertised though. Also, although I agree with the other reviewers that these crossbars do, in fact, work with the panoramic sunroof, be aware that there is an explicit warning on the outside of the included instruction bag stating that this part should NOT be used with a panoramic roof. ... show more

  • Fit perfectly & look nice
Size: 2013-2018
These fit my wife's Santa Fe perfectly. They are sturdy and look great! Used them on a 1,000 mile journey and held up well. Everything stayed secure and all screws stayed tight. Highly recommend!
