  • Great product. Crappy instructions.
The product is great. But instructions are horribly confusing. It is SUCH a simple product, but the found a way to make a confusing. And im not incompetent. Ive built a kitchen from scratch. Lol!

  • Great option for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport!
Very happy with this purchase. Looks pretty much exactly like the stock roof bars only 1/3 of the price! Amazing! Feel very solid, were incredibly easy to install, look great, and will only take a moment to remove/reinstall should I ever need to do so. Only slightly disappointed they don't lock. • Great Stock Look
Purchased these bars within a week of getting my Santa Fe, after looking around on Amazon and other websites, ultimately deciding for the more stock look with these black bars. They feel like good, solid quality, arrived quicker than expected, and were super easy to install. You just remove the cap that hides the hex bolt and loosen the hex bolts until there is enough room to get the bars onto the existing rails and inserted into the holes on the rails, then tighten and replace the caps. My only negative was that one of the caps didn't go back in tightly after I was done, it kind of stuck out loose a little bit. The cap is attached to the bar with some plastic and has two small clips that hold it into place. I was able to bend those clips outward a little more to give it some more "grip" and eventually got it to sit in the hole a little better. Didn't think this was worth knocking off a star though. I was happy to have read one or more reviews first that correctly stated that while they label which bar is the front and rear, they don't tell you which direction they should go. It's a slight difference, but one side (front vs back) is definitely a bit thicker and is shaped almost like an airplane wing. That thicker end should face frontwards. Also when they're on the correct way, when viewed from the side, it kind of has a downward angle towards the back (see photo). I have heard no hum from these bars at any speed, even with the sunroof open -- which also brings me to my next point. At the time of my purchase, there was only one small mention of sunroof compatibility in another comment, and one question answered. So I just want to further confirm that these are fine with the panoramic sunroof of the Hyundai Santa Fe ('13 Limited, in my case). Again, see photo. But note that if you were to add any other accessories to these bars like bike racks or cargo carriers, the hardware used to attach those to your bars could stick down far enough to be hit. All in all very pleased. They added a bit of a sporty look and took away from the minivan sort of feel. The instructions had me place the front bar in the middle of the 3 holes in the Santa Fe's roof rails, but I ended up moving it back to the last hole which made it look just a bit better in my opinion. UPDATE 8/4/17: The only drawback I've come across with these after a year of ownership is that because these don't "stick out" beyond the existing rails like some cross-bars do, combined with the fact that my Santa Fe has stock flush-mount rails (no gap between the rail and the roof), it can be difficult to strap down a ladder or some lumber for a home project, which is the kind of thing I use my cross-bars for mostly. I can wrap a ratcheting strap around the bar and whatever I'm strapping to it all I want, and get it tight enough so it won't go anywhere, but I would like to be able to wrap under/around something on the side of the vehicle for a little extra security from going side to side. This is not possible with the flush rails my car has, so I may end up switching to some bars that protrude beyond the rails (such as Rhinos). ... show more

  • FITS 2016 Hyundai Sport 2.0T
Prompt arrival of this crossbar kit. Found bars very easy to install on my 2016 Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo. Didn't read instructions because there are just a few bolts to adjust with the supplied tool (taped to the inside of the box). Pop the plastic caps at the ends of these bars to find the adjustment bolts. I used a finishing nail to do this. For my SUV, the Front Bar went on without any adjustment: a perfect fit. The Rear Bar required a minor change to its length. I made it a bit shorter via the two adjustment screws on the bottom of the bar . . passenger side. Test-fit the bars by placing the ends of a bar into corresponding roof-rack holes. I used the front holes so my car-top carrier would not hit the rear antenna. Finally, tighten the end-bolts until the crossbar doesn't move. NOTE: The bars are marked FRONT and REAR, as well as THIS SIDE FORWARD (stickers). Bars are made of strong, quality material; each mount has a peg which fits into a hole of the roof racks. Only negatives are: 1. Cheap plastic caps that hide the adjustment bolts; 2. No security key/lock feature . . bars are easy to take ON/OFF. But, a great $$-value product. ... show more

  • Works great on 2017 hyundai santa fe
Easy to install. Fit my 2017 hyundai Santa fe sport perfect. Stayed solid on a cross-country drive (did have to tighten it a little a few days after i installed them, but i assumed that was because they were new.)

  • I’m glad I purchased these
We have had these for a few weeks now and they look great! It took my husband about 10 minutes to put on and was pretty easy. Some reviewers have mentioned hearing a noise when going around 50mph, I have not heard anything. We have driven with these on the highway going up 80mph and still no noise or whistling could be heard. I purchased a cargo rack to attach to these for when we go camping in a couple weeks, so I will update on how well they hold up with the extra weight. Recap: Look great! No noise! ... show more

  • Happily Surprised!
I was nervous at first, thinking that any non-OEM cross bars would look and feel super cheap on my 2016 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T (no moonroof). However, after receiving these, I should have never doubted the user reviews. These are solid bars, and I have absolutely zero complaints. Can't say much for the directions, as I did not even bother with them. These are easy to install, and once they are on, feel very stable and reliable. The only difficulty was trying to loosen/tighten the screws underneath each bar to make it wider/shorter. I found the included hex wrench to be just fine, though. Also worth noting, these do not lock with keys. It is a hex screw instead. If you are worried about someone coming and stealing these, don't be. S/he would need the proper tool, and even if the person had the right tool, it would still take several minutes to get these off. Finally, I appreciated that this store was able to ship to Canada. These arrived rather quickly, so I'm sure you guys in the US will be satisfied with the shipping speed. ... show more

  • Looks like factory installed racks.
I have a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe and these fit perfectly and look like actual factory installed racks. I installed them myself with one bit of help from my dad to do the torquing because I wasn’t sure how to use a torque wrench. I only had three holes on the back, the directions said there should have been four, so I put the rack into the middle holes. Instructions stated to use the second from last and that’s what the middle hole Was for me. ... show more
