Easy to assemble took about 5 minutes to unpack and assemble. The lamp is easy to use and is bright enough. Has the brightness of a traditional standing lamp. They look awesome in the room is you want to change to the look of the spiral just rotate it. The spiral looks different at different angles because the spiral is three dimensional. The lamp looks incredible in the living room we bought two of them. I would expect it to take 4 standing lamps to light up a large living room. This is true of any standing lamp so if you have a large living room and you wanted to light it with just these lamps you would probably need 4 of them. Honestly if one of these lamps was bright enough to light a whole living room you would not be able to stand to look at it because it would be so bright. I would not want these lamps to be any brighter than their maximum setting otherwise it would hurt my eyes. ... show more

This is an interesting looking lamp that, not only is an accent piece, but works well too. It has 3 different settings that all give off a decent amount of light. I DO wish that there was a taller version of this style, as it is a bit of an awkward height, but, I knew the dimensions and bought it for the look. This floor lamp would probably not work well as your only electronic light source in a room (unless you wand accent light only), but for a secondary light, it works wonderfully. Shipment was well packed and it was easy to put together. The lamp and the base are 2 pieces held together by 2 small screws you put in yourself. Love love love this piece of art! Took a long time of reading posts to understand the pictures Are of One lamp, viewed from different angles! PROS; What’s cool is that you see these views change as you walk by it, because your position changes in relation to the lamp. Truly a piece of art in our home - Easy to screw base on Base is properly weighted Quality of light enough for a room at high and still lights room on lowest setting, “gently”. It’s better than expected. Cons: A small portion of the light strip is not entirely inset at the bottom where it makes its initial bend. There’s too much tension to push it in. HOWEVER.... it’ll never be noticed. It does not effect function and goes unnoticed. I only saw it because I inspected the lamp thoroughly. When not using this as a lamp, i unplug it and wrap the cord on top of the base. I have it set atop a slow rotator, so that it becomes a moving piece of art, slowly transforming from an infinity loop to the smaller loop up top, to the smaller loop on bottom ....very calming.
