This floor lamp is very well made, very well designed, finished beautifully and looks totally amazing. The marble base is very heavy helping keep the lamp very secure. Although it took only 20 minutes to assemble, you will need 2 people to put it together because of its size. The lamps very, very sturdy. And yes, you have to carefully read the instructions on how to assemble. Comes with everything you need to assemble it. It's tall enough to stand up and not bang your head on it and the LED bulb is bright for reading. I would recommend buying one to anyone without reservation.

Wow! This lamp is gorgeous! I'm really impressed with the quality, the base is super heavy and the metal the arms are made of seem really strong. It does lean a little, I feel like if it were disturbed, it might have a tendency to fall. But really, it's a lamp. I don't know any other lamp that wouldn't fall if disturbed. This fits perfect in my space and falls exactly where I need it to to work at my desk. I like how the shade pivots though I probably won't need to use that feature. Assembly was easy, you just have to make sure you switch out the screws like the directions say. A few of the pieces you won't end up using so make sure to at least glance over the directions to understand you'll have pieces leftover. I was surprised that it came with a light bulb which is an LED which is all I use in my house anyways. Plus, it's a bright white bulb, perfect for studying! The only thing I have to complain about is the base. It is made out of a plaster-type material, assuming for the weight. Unfortunately, plaster is very chalky and has a tendency to flake off. I will probably get a 2'x2' tile for it to sit on so it doesn't flake off onto my floor. I may even spray clear coat just the underside of the base to help the integrity of the plaster. All in all, super happy with my purchase! So far so good.

This lamp is beautiful and looks expensive. It was well packaged and arrived safely. It also was easy to assemble. It has a floor switch which makes it easy to turn off and on. This is one of my favorites Amazon finds!

This is a beautiful floor lamp which looks exactly as pictured. I wasn't sure until it arrived if the "included" bulb was a standard replaceable bulb, or built into the electronics of the lamp as some LEDs are. I was happy that it was the latter, as I like the option of using other bulbs for different lighting; it's a standard LED E26 bulb, and that it's included with the extremely low price of this lamp is nice. On a scale of 1-10, this was about 6 to put together, the challenges being pulling the slack of the power cable through the tubing so the parts can connect (I had to partially disassemble, to pull the slack through to connect the last piece) and working with the weight of the base. The package was very heavy, maybe 100 pounds or more, and 95% of the weight is in the base. I understand that the base needs to be heavy to avoid the lamp toppling over, but was shocked how heavy. Within the packaging, the base is pretty tight in a foam packing mold and while sitting on the floor trying to pull it out of the packaging, it landed on my ankle. Ouch! I was still holding the base when it came loose, so luckily the full weight didn't land, or my ankle surly would have broken. It's been a week, and it still hurts. WATCH YOUR FEET, FINGERS, etc. WHEN REMOVING THE BASE FROM THE FOAM PACKAGING. This is the second BrightTech lamp I've purchased and the first for me. Both products were excellent. (The gift I had purchased was my first choice, the Sparq, but unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued, so I chose this one. No regrets, but the Sparq is also beautiful.)

If you don't have a pendent for lighting your dining table this does the work plus it is so well made. Substantial and a beautiful marble base keep it stable without all the teetering you can have with a badly made lamp of this type.

I bought 2 of these lamps when I redecorated my living room and I was pleasantly surprised with them. Based off of the images provided by the seller as well as some of the customer images I was expecting the head of the lamp to be about half the size it ended up being (it is about 31 inches around at the widest part of the shade - big enough that if I really wanted to I could fit my entire head inside of it, which I did test out specifically for this review). For me, this ended up being a positive, but I felt the need to note it in the event that someone else is looking for a smaller size. A lot of the other reviews mention the base being extremely heavy and they are not wrong. I did not weigh them but it does seem to be solid marble underneath the metal on the base and I could probably guesstimate it to be about 35-40 pounds. Heavy enough that it was difficult for me (a 22 yo female that does not frequent the weights section at the gym) to lift by myself, but not impossible. Overall the weight, to me, is a bonus because there's basically no chance of knocking the lamp over accidentally. I think these were the PERFECT addition to my living room and they provide a great amount of light. When I have people over and we're on my couch the ceiling fan lights are too bright to provide the "chill" atmosphere I was looking for and with them off the room is too dark. These lamps provide the perfect amount of light for clear visibility but also leaves the room with a cozy feel. Each lamp came with its own bulb and even after 5-6 hours of leaving them on they do not heat up at all, which is great considering they are right above the couch. I'm planning to buy a couple more for my bedroom to replace the lamps on my nightstands in the near future. I would absolutely recommend this product.

I love this lamp! The quality and sturdiness of the base is amazing for the price. I have gotten so many compliments on the lamp and it’s such a nice accent piece. It was very easy to put together and I added an Amazon smart bulb to be able to dim/change the light color. I highly recommend!
