UPDATE: This is for the second lamp I bought! I have two of these now so the first review remains accurate and I'm reposting it here!: "I bought this to light my craft room because I do a lot of tiny detailed crafts in which I need to be well lit so I can really be able to see what I am doing. This lamp is great! They included two SETs of shades, one set being all white shades and the second set being of several vivid colors. I like that the amount of light can be adjusted by turning the knob. With every turn , it turns on more of the bulbs until they are all lit. One more turn after that and the whole lamp turns off. For my purposes, I'll probably prefer to have all five bulbs on at once. The amount of light this puts out is very ample. (I couldn't get a photo that's an accurate representation of how bright and nice this looks when lit up. I also apologize for the photos being sideways but it wouldn't allow me to flip them correctly after uploading and as of the writing of this review). The fun colors are still visible when the bulbs are lit but they just look a little more pastel than as they do when not lit up. If you need a lamp for a more formal settings, the white shades would give this a more sophisticated appearance. The brushed golden brass finish is very attractive as well. I was also pleased with how tall this lamp is. Great for lighting over a table or couch and the base bottom is sized to fit in small spaces. One caveat with that base however... If you have somewhat plush carpet this can tilt if you point all the lights in the same direction because the base is of a smaller diameter. No worries for me though because I found that if you point them in all different directions ( Kind of like the leaf fronds on a palm tree) it will stay more balanced. I'm so happy with this that I have immediately purchased another identical one for the other side of my craft table. I won't have to install an additional industrial strength fluorescent tube light in my ceiling now because two of these lamps will definitely do the job in cuter and less expensive way. YAY! :-D"

I'm very pleased I bought this lamp to replace a hand-me-down from when the kids left home. It is taller, brighter, the arms don't stick out as far and get in the way and it has a nice gold finish that looks better in our bedroom. Bulbs are included which was a nice plus. Easy to assemble.

I bought this lamp for my grandsons room which had a dim overhead light on the ceiling. I thought the colors of the shades were cool and so did he. We kept the white shades just in case he ever wants to change them out. The lamp is super sturdy and was very easy to assemble. It lights up his whole room and now I don’t worry about him reading in the dark and straining his eyes.

I love how you can adjust them in any direction and the light they put out is perfect for reading, sewing or just seeing in general. My house is so dark in some rooms. My husband thinks it looks 60's. So cute. The extra choices with the white and colored shades is great. So easy for even me to assemble and I have not come close to knocking it over so pretty sturdy, especially for the price. Comes with the bulbs too. May buy another for my dance room. Love it! Only downside is that you can't change the brightness for each bulb and the switch is too high to reach, if sitting down. No remote so gotta get up to turn it on and off or change setting. If it had these 2 features, I would for sure get a 2nd. Only reason for my 4 stars.

This lamp is great and I’m so glad I bought it. It brightens up my room literally and figuratively. Figuratively because it’s a really pretty lamp with its gold base, gold stem, and brightly colored lamp shades. Literally because the bulbs that were included give off a sunlight-like glow. I use the lamp everyday for illuminating myself when I have to do my daily Zoom meetings, and for illuminating the room in general when I need to see to do my work. AND it has three settings, which I didn’t know it would have (I probably didn’t read the description of the lamp before I bought it), so you can choose which setting suits your needs. It really is a great lamp. The only negative about the lamp is that the little shades are difficult to put on. HINT: there are arrows on the shades that you’re supposed to line up a certain way on the base where the bulb is. Once you figure that out, which took me awhile, you’re golden.

My husband and I read a lot. And, I do mean a lot. I wanted an exceptionally bright light with a bit of adjustability to light our den when we needed. I ordered this particular lamp because of it's height and the medusa style bulb holders. It came on a day when I was home alone. I decided to assmble it without waiting for my husband to return. It was so easy. Assembling it took only about fifteen minutes (including the three to four minutes when I answered the 1000th telemarketer on the phone). The directions were clear. And, guess what? One can utilize two, three or all five of the lights. They are bright and light the ceiling area above our heads. Fantastic. In fact, the five lights are brighter than the landing areas at RDU International Airport. Who knew? As a senior citizen, I was extremely delighted with this purchase. Many thanks to Brightech.

This lamp is perfect. The bulbs that come with it are nice and bright, the colored shades are really cute, and the whole thing was super easy to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes to put together and get into the position I wanted it in. It has three light settings to click through, which I love, and the heads are really easy to move into the places I want them. It lights up most of the bedroom, but if you want it in a bigger living room or something you'd need two or something brighter. Overall, great lamp, I love it, highly recommend it.
