This item was SO easy to assemble. I do with it was just a little heavier, however, it is working perfectly for my needs. I love the 3 levels of brightness with a touch of a button. Would highly recommend for areas that need just a bit more light.

I didn’t read reviews closely or I would have realized that the lightbulbs can’t be replaced. I’d rather not have to buy an entire new lamp if one of the bulbs burns out. PROS: Easy to assemble. Bright 6w LED DC bulbs. Touch Switch at top three light settings Price was fairly reasonable for an LED light. There is an easy to operate touch switch to operate at the top once you find it from reading the directions. The main shaft of the light is threaded all metal sections. CONS: Base while probably adequate for bare floor does not function well on plush carpet. There is no mention of provided AC/DC adapter being required and since my lights are generally off 90% of the time 90% of the time that AC/DC transformer will be pulling at my electric meter granted it may be small but if this were switched LED light it would be not at all. Height the listing makes it seem like you have ability to change height it does not look like that looking at the wiring and hole sizes. If a bulb goes out you have no option but to get a new light as they are not replaceable. Base is obviously designed to run AC power cord and has not been modified design to accommodate DC line plus plug; instead the stand was modified to exit power wire before base. The three bulbs are uncapable of independent operation that so many of us assume will be in a three light fixture of this configuration. No I would not recommend this to a friend or buy it again. If the wording was changed to accurately describe that this is DC LIGHT that requires a bulky transformer it may merit three stars. ... show more
