My mistake was not realizing it was subscription based product, but I thought I’d try it, however they billed me a full year in advance, NOT. When I went to register the product using the Amazon order number it wasn’t able to complete the process. I tried to reach out to the Company, but they don’t work weekends & evenings, only set hours. Paying a subscription should be that someone is available at all hours. I didn’t realize the battery only last 14 days, so twice a month it has to be removed & recharged? That’s crazy. I had better luck with another tracker that didn’t cost a fortune just to maintain locations.

This company is good to work with if issues. Also their reports are the most intuitive and helpful. I’ve used 4 other services before landing on brickhouse. And now they have a unit that is affordable with a long battery life.

Absolutely love! I track my son who has schizophrenia and bipolar and it gives me such peace of mind! Only thing is it takes a while to charge so I bought a second one to be able to switch them! My first one did fall off but we had a big snowstorm! You do need a subscription!!!

I bought this on 4/13/25. I started using it about a week later, around the 19th. I consider myself quite adept with gadgets, and my critical thinking skills are above average. However, the usability of the Brickhouse Locate software is neither intuitive nor easy to navigate. To find a vehicle, aside from seeing the general area, you must run a report. Therefore, for a straightforward question like the current address, you have to sift through a lot of data to find an answer that should be readily available when the app opens and the vehicle is located. I have attempted to research this and how to use it, but there is very little information provided, and what is available I have already figured out. Another issue is that to get the best rate, you need to subscribe to an annual plan. I felt obligated to do so because of the amount I paid. The first time I used it, the battery lasted about 10 days. I have charged it 6 times, and the 6th attempt to charge was unsuccessful; the battery would not charge. Essentially, I got 38 to 45 days of actual use, considering that when the battery needs charging, there is a delay to retrieve the unit, charge it, and then replace it in the vehicle. Additionally, each charge cycle resulted in shorter intervals between recharges. Overall, this has been a poor choice, and given this experience, I am uncertain if I will ever try a different brand. Like to add Amazon would not allow a one star. Kept resetting remarks and advising me to add remarks so I put a 2 but this deserves ONE STAR
