I'm so impressed with the quality of the build, the accessories and everything about this oven. It's always a joy to use a product that is well-made and thoughtfully designed. It's very easy to use and all the controls are straightforward and logical. It's quite a bit larger than I was expecting but that's great. I could definitely fit a medium size turkey in it. And it has great versatility -- I use it for everything from reheating to air frying. And the tray on the bottom slides out and makes cleaning a snap. My one and only complaint seems trivial but it's about the light. It comes on when you open the door and that's great but when you press the button to turn it on while your food is cooking, it stays on for ~30 seconds. If you're cooking something that you need to keep a close eye on it's very annoying to constantly have to turn it back on. But that only stands out because it's an otherwise flawless product.

We bought one of these brand new in 2017 for $399. My wife heard about it on a cooking channel she follows, and HAD to have one. She loved it....and I learned to love it as well. We were living in a tiny house at the time and did all of our cooking in the Breville and an Instant Pot. We're back in a full size house, and still cook like that. Our big oven is just another storage cabinet for baking pans and frying pans. I was really impressed a few years back when squirrels chewed through the neutral on our power service. Suddenly our normal household electrical service was putting out 240V. In addition to some smaller things, we lost an refrigerator and a printer. But the Breville still worked as well as ever after...probably because it's designed for dual voltage. Anyway....our 2017 Breville finally stopped working early this year. Hardly a day passed that we didn't use it for 6 years. We decided to buy the renewed version for $299 to save $100. (Isn't it amazing that you can still buy one new on Amazon for $399 6 years later with the way prices have shot up on everything else?). I bought the Asurion 4-year electronics protection plan. I've had good luck with Asurion. So right out of the box, first time we hit the power button, there was this scary rattle. We quickly hit the power button, and then started the oven again. It worked fine with no noise, and we used it for several more weeks before the noise happened again. Long story short, the noise happened only rarely.....but began to get a bit louder each time. Finally started sounding loud enough that we were afraid something was getting ready to break. YouTube has several videos of Breville Fan noise that sound like what we were experiencing. This was about 4 months into owning it. We contacted Asurion, and they said that we were still covered by Breville's warranty and should contact them. So we did. Let me tell you that Breville took care of us in a very helpful and timely way. They sent us packing materials to ship the unit in for service. In a little less than 2 weeks we got a return shipment. They paid shipping both ways. Turns out they sent us a brand new renewed oven. No complaints. Just started using the replacement, and it works like a charm. The whole process worked like it should. Great product. Great service.

Damaged box, dirty packaging, broken temperature knob, and non-functional unit. This is the worst packaging I've ever seen. I'm shocked this was labeled 'certified refurbished.' immediately repacked it and requested a refund after one minute. I didn't even bother to take photos, just immediate return.

I ordered a refurbished unit to save about $100 and I'd say it was a good deal. Although there was no indication that there would be dents, it arrived with a smallish dent that doesn't affect its operation at all so I won't send it back. Otherwise, it seems like a good appliance. The controls are pretty self-evident and simple to use. Design is good. I need to practice using the air fryer function before I can say whether its good but given the general quality of this appliance, I expect it is.

I just received my oven today and was super excited to put it to use. I read and followed the user set-up instructions to a tee. After cleaning the crumb tray and inside of the oven I plugged it in and attempted to run the oven through the pizza cycle as instructed. The oven will turn on and starts to heat for maybe 3 seconds before beeping and displaying the error E06 which means there is a non-resettable issue with the appliance and that I will need to call Breville customer support for help. I am giving 2 stars for the quick delivery time and look/feel of the oven. I am very dissatisfied that after holding up my end of the deal and reading and following the instructions that it turns out someone on the manufacturer end did not hold up theirs. I will be calling Breville tomorrow and will report back on their customer service. I will change my review according to the support I receive. Edit 1: Breville's customer support was incredibly helpful and had a few options for how they could fix the problem. The first option was to put down a deposit for them to send me a new unit with a return packing slip and then upon return of the broken one I would get my deposit back. The second option was to receive a return label via email, send the unit back, then receive a new one in the mail roughly 7-10 days after they receive my return. I will report back again once this process completes. Edit 2: I have upgraded my review to 5 stars. While receiving a non-working unit was a big hassle, Breville's customer support was wonderful and the exchange process was fairly painless and very quick. Brevil covered the cost of all the return shipping and I received a new unit in the mail 5 days after my return shipment was received by Breville. I know this is a refurbished unit as well, but I cannot find a single dent or scratch on it, it looks brand new. I cooked pizza in it already and it worked perfectly. I also used the dehydrator to make some dehydrated apple slices and they came out amazing. I look forward to utilizing the other functions. This will definitely be a staple for use in my kitchen!
