I live in an old house, dang near as old as me, and like me gravity is taking it's toll. The insulation in the back end of the place is almost gone so in this cold snap I really need a good heater. This is it, it actually made some advances against the cold. I'm hoping that it helps against the coming arctic river, I'll let you know how it does. Anyway, as I said this is a hot li'l bugger, I actually had to move it a bit further away from me, and it did make the freezing temps in my icebox almost tolerable (thank you sweaters!). Along with the heat this thing is really quiet, my roommate used it one night and it didn't bother her sleep at all. She's a very light sleeper, if I go outside and even think about a noise it'll wake her up. But this didn't. The controls are easy to understand and utilize, even though it seems a touch more intricate at first. Now would this item do you good in a room with decent insulation? Most likely it would, for that matter you could use this in a small home shop, maybe a greenhouse or warm box, even your enclosed porch on those chilly mornings while you enjoy your first cup. It will probably save you a fair amount of money on your heating bill, and who couldn't use that? It'd probably pay for itself in a season, so great value! Would I buy this again? Probably will once I build a greenhouse. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.

The media could not be loaded. I am putting Breezome on my list of top brands after trying out two of their space heaters over the past month. This review is for the smaller heater, which is oval shaped and about the size of a gallon bottle of juice. There are many reasons why I love it. First of all, whatever heating coils it uses (and you can see them through the mesh that protects the user) they are deep in the design and do not pose a danger to you or any children or pets about. The heat it puts out is amazing. I have a 12-ft x12-ft bedroom and this heater completely warmed it up within 15 minutes. It has an oscillating feature that I think is critical to its ability to warm up a room so quickly. The airflow is unencumbered and quite strong. It will literally blow your hair back if you stand in front of it. See the video for how much noise it makes. It's a pleasant sound, much like white noise. There's no smell to it, whatever is heating in there does not give off an odor. And its functionality is greatly improved by the fact that you can opt in and out of oscillating, it has an automatic shut off/timer feature, you can choose different heating levels for the situation, and the remote control is great because you can turn it on or off or change the customization settings from across the room (or, if you're like me, while you're lounging in bed). This heater was instrumental buying me some time to figure out the best solution when my furnace went out last month. I was able to heat my entire 1,200 square foot house with the help of this particular space heater, another slightly larger Breezome space heater, and an old school space heater in my kitchen that all together kept everything warm and toasty until I could get my new furnace. I will never buy a space heater made by anyone else ever again. This is next generation space heating and I love it.

My husband is cranky about the heat being turned up to anything but arctic-level temperatures (OK, OK, I admit it: I run cold), so this space heater was our “compromise.” I keep it on a stool beside my side of the bed, turn it on with the nifty little remote control, and it heats everything up so quickly that I can get out of bed without wanting to launch myself straight back into bed just to stay toasty. Don’t be fooled by the seemingly tiny size of this one - it can and will heat a whole 14’ by 12’ room in a little under half an hour, thus allowing me time to get dressed and ready for the day without having to crank up the heat on our main HVAC system. I will share this, as I think safety is super important: keep this up, off, and at least six inches from the carpet and plug it straight into a wall outlet instead of an extension cord. I was lazy on the first day and ready to use it and the machine itself felt hot to the touch when directly on the carpet and plugged into a power strip. This has not happened since placing it onto a wooden stool and plugging it directly into an outlet. Safety first, always. The oscillating feature is amazing and helps heat up the room faster than a fixed space heater, so you don’t necessarily need to have this one on for as long, which I am loving for the sake of our power bill. The remote is straightforward, no fuss, no muss. The controls are intuitive and easy to use with limited but powerful settings. Setting it up was super simple and there was no wait time to use it and feel its effects, like we have with our old school style radiator space heater. The small size plus oscillation makes this a really convenient, handy, versatile thing to have in our older, draftier home. I can move it to my home office easily, place it in a cold corner of the kitchen while I’m making tea, etc. I should probably buy a second one of these just for the downstairs portion of our home, lol! It really is that easy to just pick up, move and plug in where and when you need it. All in all? It’s a simple, small, effective space heater that heats up QUICKLY and keeps things shockingly warm. My only notes are that 1.) I have not found a way to preset a temperature past the usual “H” settings so I need to use the remote to manually turn it off, on, up or down, depending and 2.) I wish the face plate of the heater didn’t get so hot. For the price, the performance, convenience of a remote, and the pretty easy use, this was a good find.
