Oh, what do you get a husband for Christmas that needs and wants nothing. Why a Nose Hair trimmer of course. Since I've been married a mere 24+ months my hairy husband complained as he grew older so did his nose hair and ear hair. I offered to plucked in a sick sadistic manner for some grandeur of pleasure. He politely decline, and I was heart broken. So I broken down, and bough him this nose hair trimmer in hope that it would pull the hairs out the way I wanted and some how there would be in pain and pleasure. At last, I was disappointed to find out that this nose hair trimmer worked painlessly. It was quiet, and did an excellent job. My husband was in awe and loves his trimmer and uses it frequently with out pain. I asked if hurt at all hoping for something and he said no. It feels a little weird and he was a little scared at first but no pain and just awesome clean nose and hair. Needless to say my husband looks much better, and a little less hairy. A Christmas gift that was totally worth.

This unit replaces another vendor's model. The trim blade in the previous product was better than this one. If I had not experienced a different product I would not have realized how slow this one is for actually trimming hairs. Why did I switch products? I had one that lasted nearly 10-years (good for me, but not the manufacturer). I purchased a replacement that was essentially the same thing. It lasted maybe a year (good for the manufacturer, but not for me). So, I decided to try a different vendor. I did not expect to find such an inferior trimming blade in a quality product.

I had some long nasal hairs that were tickling and caused frequent itching which were nearly impossible to cut with scissors. I reluctantly purchased this Braun EN10. It easily trimmed those hairs. I was pleasantly surprised. It comes with a decent user manual. The pdf link on this page is NOT it. It is important to be patient. Watch a couple of YouTube videos on “how to”. Make sure to the turn on the device on BEFORE inserting into nostril. Also, even though the illustration on the package indicates the blades can be rinsed while attached to the device, the user manual clearly states that it should be disassembled, rinsed separate from the motorized device, left out to air dry and then reassembled. I suspect those negative comments about the unit failing to work after the first use may be from water contaminating the motor.

I would absolutely not buy this again, and recommend others not to buy. Braun is usually a dependable brand, but not this item. The blade barely cuts the hair. I had to run the device over the hair in my nose or ears over and over again, with little to show for it. As if that wasn't bad enough, the device died and stopped working after I had used it only a half dozen times. Very disappointing.

Just received this unit. Very lightweight, easy to use. Does the job, though I wish the cutting head was a bit larger, to reach the ear and nose hair on the first pass. Still, a comfortable device to use, and far better than using scissors or pulling.
