Nice lighting, versatile style, standard installation: This sconce light offers a great amount of light and functions better than anticipated. Due to the larger size of the bulb, the lighting provided by this sconce covers a bit more area than I'd expected, which is actually perfect because it's been installed in a darker area of the house that doesn't get as much natural light as most other spots. The style is also perfect to fit in either a modern or classic decor style, with the classic cylindrical shape and minimalist metal design working well in either scenario. The installation of the unit is also very standard as far as wall sconces go, and didn't give me any extra issues relative to other lights. This sconce was to install. It’s certainly solid brass! It’s a beautiful fixture! I ordered two to replace some antique fixtures in my dining room and the update is night-and-day. They’re a bit pricey, but are easily comparable to fixtures that cost twice the price.

Next to our foyer, we were needing to upgrade a current light that was not in the best condition. I ame across this "Indoor" wall sconce, made with a lovely brass. I loved the way the light was designed and how nice it appears on our wall now. They used fine grade materials to create this wall sconces. To me, this light is very simplistic but delivers brilliance wonderfully. Below, I will outline the factors that led me to believe this would definitely be a wise decision and would look great once installed. *Design: Brass 14" wall sconces with glass tube. This shouts sophistication and solace. Very well designed, this is a functional piece. Works as it should, without flaw. *Material: transparent tempered hard glass and solid copper base *Dimensions: 5"L x 5"W x 19"H with a weight of 5 lbs *Pure copper lamp body *Quantity: one lamp Overall, I think this brass wall sconce is gorgeous. The installation took a minute, but once it was finished, so worth it! This is a very substantial piece, not flimsy and shows no signs of distress, defects or any negative issue. Therefore, based on these facts and features, I do recommend this Brass wall sconces to other consumers. When assembling, I noted much difficulty getting the threaded glass to fit securely into its receiver. I was able to catch just enough thread to get it to stay put...but just barely. Any pressure applied to the glass caused it to easily dislodge. There simply wasn't enough exposed threading to safely secure the glass on the sconce (sad face). ... show more
