I'm a fan of the lumbar support and sitting position of this office chair. Most of the cheapo office chairs don't have these features or just feel cheap and off. My only gripe with this chair is that I think the padding for your rear area could be thicker or better material. Thats not that big of a deal for me since I use a gel pad on my chairs anyway, but it should be kept in mind for people who want more support there. 8/10 I would recommend it. This chair is well made and good quality. It came in a smaller box than I expected but it was easy to put together and up and functional in no time. It can be adjusted to your preferences and needs. Of course, the height is adjustable up and down by pulling up on the leaver located on the right side below the seat (it sticks out to be reached while seated), the arms are adjustable too, I think, 5 different height positions, by pushing the button on the outside of the arm in and moving to your desired height. The tension can be adjusted for the seat tilt, by turning the knob under the seat, and it can be made to not tilt at all by pulling the lever on the right side of the chair out. It has fantastic lumbar support. The seat turns and the rollers glide very smoothly, and you can tell that it’s a good quality chair. It’s attractive as well and you can tell that they paid attention to the aesthetics when designing it. I only have 2 wishes (I don’t really want to call them dislikes) for this chair. One would be that the area of the chair was larger from front to back. Because of the lumbar support pushing out I tend to sit closer to the middle of the chair leaving a good amount of my legs hanging off in front not supported. I feel like a taller person would have an even bigger issue with this. It’s not a deal breaker or anything but it’s just something that I think would make this chair much better. The other thing that I would wish to change would be the cushion. Because this is a chair that is used a large portion of the workday, I would much prefer a better cushioned seat. This one is a bit firm for hours of use. This chair looks nice, operates well and with a few tweaks it could be awesome! As it is, it’s fine for a while but it could be great. ... show more

What I like: This chair is very supportive! I love the lumbar support. It is very similar to my name brand, very expensive chair I have at the office. The chair reclines slightly and it is a very smooth, steady motion. It is not a stiff motion to try to recline and it is not so easy that you feel like you will tip backward. It is very secure and smooth. The 5 star base is solid metal and all of the parts are strong and secure. The wheels are very nice quality too! I will not have to swap out the wheels, like I usually do. The wheels roll quietly and with ease. All of the motions and movement of this chair are silent and smooth! So many great aspects. The arms adjust up and down. The height of the chair adjust up and down. The instructions were easy to follow. The parts were very well labeled and the predrilled screw holes were in such a way that you could not put parts on backwards. Assembly was very easy and the only tools needed was included. They provided extra parts, in case you needed them. What I dislike: The chair cushion is firm. Too firm. It almost feels hard. It does soften up once used, so it is not as firm as it is initially, but still a little to firm for my preference. The arms are hard plastic and not cushioned at all. They are super uncomfortable. Pros: Materials seem to be high quality and durable. Easy to assemble. Smooth rolling wheels. Good lumbar/back support. Looks good in the home office! Cons: The seat cushion seems too stiff. After a few weeks of use, it didn't improve.

The chair came very well packaged. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. The chair was not difficult to put together. You can adjust the height and lock the back from rocking. I find the seat is not super comfortable-- it almost needs more padding- The back is super stiff-- it feels much better if the back is not locked. I am only 5 foot-- and I do have lower back problems-- So the seat is not that comfy to me, however my son who is much much taller than me enjoys sitting in the chair. It is certainly a preference!
