The tool is amazing when working on a brake job to push the brake caliper back into place. I tried to use a hand vice and it kept falling off while I was trying to work on the caliper and brakes. Really does an amazing job at holding together well and very easily understood the instructions that came with this tool. Was a lot quicker and fit very well. I used to use a c-clamp to compress the piston but it was a PITA! Finally ordered this. It's a simple, cost-effective solution that made my DIY brake job go much better this time around. No more trying to align the c-clamp properly without hitting my brake cable, just pop this tool into the piston and turn the knob, that's it!

Previously I used a C-clamp for my brake job. It was cheap and effective. However, when I need to change rear brake pads for my 2022 Lexus RX350, I can’t use it any more because it might damage the electronic parking brake module. This little tool is more useful and safer for the job. It is durable, easy to handle and fits well to the rear piston. I think it will help in case of front brakes also. However, the dual piston one will have a harder time to get it done.

Got this for a BMW X3. It is made of simple material. The look and quality of it is okay. They fit in and was able to press the solenoid back without issue. It was quite easy. The fit though wasn't the best but this is a generic tool that wasn't designed for my BMW. The center piece was off center but that is not what counts. It did its job of pushing it back the solenoid and it worked very good. The plate they use for it is thick so not easy to bend. If you had to put that much pressure to bend it, then your doing something wrong. It should last the life of multiple cars.
