I used to use a c-clamp to compress the piston but it was a PITA! Finally ordered this. It's a simple, cost-effective solution that made my DIY brake job go much better this time around. No more trying to align the c-clamp properly without hitting my brake cable, just pop this tool into the piston and turn the knob, that's it!

Got this for a BMW X3. It is made of simple material. The look and quality of it is okay. They fit in and was able to press the solenoid back without issue. It was quite easy. The fit though wasn't the best but this is a generic tool that wasn't designed for my BMW. The center piece was off center but that is not what counts. It did its job of pushing it back the solenoid and it worked very good. The plate they use for it is thick so not easy to bend. If you had to put that much pressure to bend it, then your doing something wrong. It should last the life of multiple cars.

Low quality push end, jiggles and feels flimsy. Only works for pistons that push down and don’t turn, and even then the end is not flush with most pistons due to its small diameter. Buy a full caliper piston kit instead unless in a crunch

Made changing the brake pads go smoothly, easy to use and compress the brake pistons and place your new pads in without fighting them or damaging the pads. Highly recommend to have in your tool box if you change your own brakes which you should as its not hard and save tons of money.
