I'm a musician and I play keyboard. I bought this chair because it had a high back so I could play longer hours on my keyboard. My previous chair basically a stool where the the seat could be adjusted had no back and I was constantly getting back pain. But no more. This chair is such a blessing! It's super comfortable and easy to assemble. It's really good quality metal that the base of chair is made out of. Now I can play my keyboard for extended periods of time without the back pain! It's awesome! I ordered the black cloth chair for when I have gigs and other events I have a professional looking chair that comfortable as well. It has an adjustable lever to lower or raise the chair perfect for another keyboard player if I'm at a gig. Overall really pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend this chair!

Using these chairs for the kitchen island and they fit the kids and adults. Assembly is easy, maybe even a bit too easy. Only 4 screws. Unfortunately, only gravity holds the base and post together. So, if you were to pick up the chair by the seat to move it, it might come apart. Otherwise a good seat.

They match my kitchen chairs perfect I bought 2 initially and turned around and a 3rd there not to bulky and holds up to 250 lbs. They seem easy to clean if they do get dirty they were very easy to assemble and my hubby loves them I am very pleased

I put it together (I'm 80) in under 10 minutes. The problem began when I was testing the up and down lever ( I wasn't sitting on it) and the chair shot up and then I couldn't get it down. I couldn't get up into the chair because it was too high for me to sit in. I tried leaning over the chair and putting my weight on it and pulling on the lever to get it to go down (that's when I popped a rib) and it wouldn't budge. I went and got the hubby, he's 6' 2" and got him to try and sit in the chair and it was a bit too high for him to get on but he leaned over the chair, put his weight on it and pulled the up and down lever and it FINALLY WENT DOWN. Just know if you want it to go up be sure you're sitting in it first so you can get it to go down. It looks nice but it's not as comfy as I expected it to be. The chair seat length is very short. I'm short 5'2" and when I'm sitting in the chair all the way to the back, the edge of the chair hits me about 6" up my thigh (normal chairs when I'm sitting hit me at the back of my knee). I feel like I'm falling out of the chair and have to keep scooting back but there is no place to scoot back to. I bought it to use my sewing machine when it's on my work bench (34") and a regular chair wouldn't do. Thank goodness I don't have to use it very often or for long periods of time. If you're tall and have long legs it'd be best to look at a stool that has a longer seat.
