First of all, reading previous reviews about fit and the straps…OK, people, first of all, there are TWO sizes. Read the directions provided on the product page about measuring your arm properly and then choose the correct size accordingly. It’s that simple. I don’t understand how people who said they have large arms ordered the S/M. Obviously didn’t read the directions and ordered the wrong size. Second, regarding not being able to feed the straps through the loops. Again, zero issue here whatsoever. I have no idea what people are talking about. A two year old could do this. The straps are sized appropriately to feed through the loops, zero issue there. Another tip - IF you have trouble putting this on by yourself, here’s the solution - feed the straps through the loops BEFORE you put it on your arm and then loosely Velcro the end of the strap to the brace (so they don’t slide back out when you put your arm through) so you can easily slide your arm through, put the brace exactly where you want it, THEN tighten the straps. Not that hard people. Don’t need mama or wifey to be there to help you. I’ve worn this for two days now and it’s a game changer for me. Have really bad bursitis from blunt hits and falls to my left elbow to the point where I can barely use it but I am building our home right now and work with horses so have to stay working. The slightest bump to my elbow, which happens many times a day, just kills it, so I tried to make my own padded brace but they don’t fit and stay in place well. Any I’ve shopped for at sporting goods stores or Walmart are simply sleeves with no padding, so those are completely useless. I’m a frugal guy so don’t like to buy something unless it works, is well made, and does what is says it will. And this fits that bill! Money very well spent. The fact that I can keep going about my daily work with some protection, peace of mind, and relief for my elbow pain (the pressure itself helps with that over time if you make it really tight) means everything. Lastly, this is high quality and made in the USA by what looks like a nice small community company. That’s good people right there we need to support. Awesome product, thank you for your product, and please make more for every body part because I need them.

Works well to help prevent further injury.

works as expected. soft cushion and the only thing that has helped stopped my bursitis from continuing compared to other wraps/protection. its quite bulky so it needs be on a short sleeved shirt or over the sleeve. I feel like my Bursitis continued because it kept on getting hit by things, and this is the only thing that stopped that.

Great padded support for elbow healing

It's a bit bulky, but that's kind of necissary when giving padding for healing. The padding is great and supports all around the outer side of the elbow. It helps reduce some mobility without completely limiting movement. The straps are adjustable and the S/M fits comfortably on smaller arms (used for a 115lb 5'4" teenage boy) but would be tight for anyone with wider arms. The material is soft and comfortable with the inner sleeve helping to hold it in place. Hand washing care works best. A quick wash with dawn dish soap and air drying for 24 hours keeps it from getting gross.

Deceptive photo, good padding, some discomfort with flexion

I just received this about an hour ago and haven’t yet decided whether I will keep it, but I will share some initial impressions. I ordered it for olecranon bursitis of my right arm. My first observation is that the brace is not as pictured in the Amazon listing. The photos show a support strap above, and one below the level of the elbow joint, with the skin or sleeve of the wear, visible between them in the front. In fact, this brace does have a full circumferential elastic sleeve, encompassing the front of the elbow, similar to one from another supplier that I returned because of discomfort from the punching up in the antecubital space (front of elbow joint). Next observation is that this device is relatively large and bulky compared to the previous elasticity I had ordered. The padding over the olecranon (point of the elbow) is well done and protects the distended fluid filled bursa which is a positive. I agree with other commenters that the Velcro closure is tight and a bit tricky to remove with the fingertips of my left hand having to reach under it. Perhaps some sort of a small grasping tab on the backside might be helpful. The brace is reasonably comfortable in extension with the arm straight out, but as others have noted, it does cause some limitation and discomfort with flexion. (bending of the arm) with the large plastic D rings, causing discomfort. A better design might have narrower Velcro straps and instead of hard plastic rings fabric loops. I’m not sure whether to think of the discomfort with flexion as a feature or as a bug. That is to say, I’m not sure if this is intentionally done to limit the war from bending the arm a lot or just suboptimal design. By measurement, I was borderline between the medium and large versions. I elected to go with the large and I believe it was the right choice. All in all, I’m not yet decided whether to keep this brace. I will give it a chance for a day or two and then make a decision.

Definitely helped with my bursitis

Easy to put on. Very easy to adjust. Quality is perfect. I have bursitis and this brace has definitely helped in my healing process. The padding gave me protection when i rested my arm on the table or any hard surface. Perfect fit. Had to wear a compression sleeve under it cause the material rubbing against my arm bothered me. Only down fall is after a few hours of wearing it, it would slide down on my arm. But i would buy it again if needed to.

The actual pad is okay, but everything else is very poorly sized.

I wanted a bursitis pad. The foam padding seems to be correctly shaped and sized for that function. And that's about the nicest thing I can say about this device. The problem is that it is simultaneously TOO SMALL and TOO LARGE. For reference, when I measured my bicep before ordering, the tape measure said 14.5 inches. That's about the middle of the L/XL sizing. The too-small part is the inner sleeve. I had assumed that the compression force would be applied by the heavy velcro straps, and I would be able to adjust it accordingly. That's not how it works, though. The sleeve is just really tight, and not usefully elastic. The cloth is a rough weave, uncomfortable against skin, and it's really not long enough to protect against the nylon straps. (More about that in a moment.) On my arm, middle-sized for this model, it was painfully small and I ended up removing it after 90 minutes. I have no clue how someone whose arm measured nearer the 18" size would be able to even put it on. Going forward, I probably am going to remove the inner sleeve and just find a long-sleeve shirt to cut up to provide (some) protection against the straps. I note that in the main product picture the store page shows me (I'm looking at it as I'm writing this) the device does not appear to have any such inner sleeve - there's bare skin visible between the two straps. Hmm. The too-large part is the straps. Now, I'll grant that long straps are usually kind of nice, particularly with this sort of device where the velcro can affix to any surface. These are a little excessive, and cannot be trimmed shorter since the velcro is very firmly sewn in place on the far ends. But the real problem is the overall strap design. On one side there are wide straps which are connected to the main body of the pad and end in wide, flat plastic loops. These cannot be adjusted. On the other side are the narrower straps - you feed them through the plastic loops then pull them back in the direction they came from, using the loops as pulleys to tighten the device and then use the velcro ends to secure them. It doesn't really matter how long the velcro-ended straps are - they could be long enough to wrap all the way around (they aren't) and it would work the same. The pulley-ended straps are precisely the wrong length. They need to be at least two inches shorter or two inches longer (shorter would be better). At the length they are, they leave the plastic-loop pulleys against the underside of my arm, 180 degrees opposite the elbow pad. In this position they are poking into the inside of my elbow unless I hold my arm perfectly straight. It's roughly like being stabbed by two dull spoons. My elbow still hurts an hour after I took it off, even though I had the straps barely tightened. Did anybody human, with an arm in the correct size range, actually test this device? I'm having a hard time believing it. Maybe someone strapped it on, said "oh yeah, it fits" and took it right back off. I'm not going to play the AI slop card, but it's definitely not designed by people who know what they are doing. If your arm measured 12", you might be able to use it. If your arm measured 18" you won't be able to use the inner sleeve but the pad should work. Roughly in the 13" to 17" range, this thing is an utter fail. If you're in the small range, I have no useful advice other than to be skeptical. My plan is to try to modify mine. Remove the inner sleeve, add extra padding, strap it on extra-loose, and see if I can tolerate it. I'm not optimistic.

Excellent quality for protection, compression and stability for elbow swelling

Just what I expected and my elbow bursitis needed. Excellent quality, soft neoprene fabric. The adjustable straps were easy to use and to get the perfect fit. The brace provides protection from hitting it against something, compression for swelling and keeps the elbow stable, all very important for heeling. The price is fair considering the quality and features.

Worst one I've tried so far

Do not buy this brace for bursitis, it made mine worse because it was so rigid/uncomfortable. Additionally, I got the S/M size and my arm circumference is not even 8 inches around and it was painfully tight.
