I purchased this for my grandmother. She broke her shoulder. The one from the hospital was just not enough. This keeps her arm nice a secure, close to her body and doesn’t hurt her neck as bad. She needs help getting it on and off. I suggest taking time to figuring it all out before trying to get it on the first time. There are a lot of moving parts to customize. I was hopeful. Bought the L-handed version. I'm 5'5 (barely) & plus size (18/20). It fit very well re: torso/plus size. In theory (straps, not too tight, etc). But like another reviewer mentioned.... my entire elbow & tricep; basically from forearm back was just doing its own thing. My tiny, petite little hand was also just hanging out, doing its own thing -- like way too many inches between fingers & end of the sling. You couldn't even see my hand from the end. The little straps for the hand/thumb were pointless. It's almost as if the FRAME fit (sizing/different bodies/etc), but then the actual sling was too big (b/c we're all then shaped different). I'll have to try to find something else. Seems to work for more normal people though! Lol Us ladies continue to have it hard! Like buying 'petite' plus size pants made for giants :) ... show more

🔹You CAN put this brace on by yourself. Had a traumatic injury and blew my shoulder out (dominant hand). This is the best brace I found to date. 🔹It correctly places your elbow in the sling almost into a pocket. Fabric comes up the outer edge of your elbow/arm by about 5 inches. 🔹A strap attaches near your elbow and then goes up to and odd an almost a wishbone shape. The straps bifurcate with one over your shoulder toward the top of wrist and the other goes down (bows outward though) under your armpit and Velcros under your wrist. 🔹It also has TWO straps inside by your wrist to help hold your hand in place and a thumb strap as well. Drawbacks: Minus a ⭐️. 🔻instead of the single strap that comes off the elbow—it should have 2. 🔻Have the 1st strap similar to the one but higher up on the elbow pocket. 🔻A 2nd strap from the bottom of the elbow pocket that almost encircles your waist and attaches underneath your wrist. ✅I did ordered a 2nd one. Machine wash in a small lingerie bag and only air dry. Just remember to wrap part of the Velcro back on itself.. ❇️All purchase all my items and reviews aren't incentivized. ... show more

Using this sling after a recent shoulder dislocation. I like that the fit is very secure, and comfortable, and that it doesn’t put any pressure on the injured shoulder. My only dislike, and reason for not giving 5-stars is because the material is much heavier than I realized it would be, which can get very warm in the summer months. Also when wearing in the left side, the closure across the top of the are is hard to secure to the inside of the arm when mobility is limited. ... show more

This sling was supportive and mostly comfortable, and the fabric seemed good quality. However, as a smaller woman, it was much too large for me! The design makes it very supportive, but the extra strap also makes it bulky and a bit unattractive. It is a bit difficult to use, as you have to initially cut the strap to size, and you also have multiple straps to manage. I ended up returning it in favor of another sling. ... show more
