No, way smaller than expected. Speakers suck. Need to purchase a better antenna for it to pick up stereo channels. Husband laughed when he seen it.

    • Easy to operate
I liked that it was easy to operate. Have not tried the copying features - not technie enough! Bought it so I could play my old records - kingston trio etc. and my cd collection. The only reason I gave it four stars are because the speakers are not the greatest but what could I expect for the price?

It’s not the greatest looking, but works great for me. I have had no problems with it, even with reading the dials. My old one I had to use a flashlight.

I purchased this stereo for my mother who is elderly and has cassette tapes she wanted to listen to. It is very easy for her to listen to some of her treasured older music tapes. So glad we could still obtain a stereo that does cassette, CD, AM/FM radio, and vinyl records.

Sound quality was not great through the speakers included. Kind of "tinny" sounding. Packing {even though it was double boxed) was poor and we found some broken plastic parts after unpacking. We returned it and bought a better machine. Very mediocre product and that's probably ok for some people, but not for our needs. It does have an 80's/90's kind of retro look and feel. I would have been THRILLED if I got this level of quality for Christmas as a 7th grader in the 80's. ... show more
