This is my second one. The first one lasted two years. Many hikes, many swimming trips, many off leash activitiesā itās worked great. Itās of great quality, it IS waterproof (not the remote just the collar) vibration is solid, I shocked myself with it, and I only feel comfortable using it on a 5 or lower for my 37lb dog. Itās easy to fit, and best of all, the charge lasts weeks. I used this 6 hours a day, for a week, and the charge hadnāt budged. For context, the pink collar is the old one and purple is the new one.

Itās a decent collar for the price.(got mine on sale and coupon). But thereās a few caveats a few things that just suck. The remote has no clip or storage so you have to hold it or put in your pocket. Thatās not terrible but can become annoying. Remote turns off after 30 seconds but will come back on if shock is used. If not button must be pressed. Now for the bad. My box didnāt come with a Manual but it did come with Papers in a foreign language. No user instructions. Itās pretty self explanatory but thereās a switch on the side that will change the (mode?) to 1or2. When I have the remote on 2 it does nothing. I have assumed this to have something to do with the collar itself and the button but I have yet to figure that out. I have read reviews of it shocking on its own and that has not happened to my dobie in the almost 1 year of use. Durability is not great on the collar. Some piece of plastic on the strap part broke so it kind of hangs (as seen in photo). I have also read reviews that the shock doesnāt always work or never does. Iāve not had this issue with Brutus as far as I know. Lastly the levels are pretty good Iāve tested 1-16 myself and Iāve not gone that high on my boy It zaps pretty good but also the beep is just enough that they can hear even when barking or playing. Itās got a strong vibrate but I donāt use it as it makes my dobie go nuts. It charges well and stayed charged for a while even under heavy use. I got the green to stand out from his black coat and I like it.

The collar is easy to set up and comes with clear instructions, which made the whole process stress-free. It has multiple training modes like beep, vibration, and shock, so you can choose what works best for your dogās temperament. What I like most is that it helped improve my dogās behavior without causing harm. I started with the beep and vibration settings, and that alone was enough to get my dogās attention and correct unwanted behaviors.
