Although it is a bit thin, it’s actually a very nice throw. I would have given it 5 stars if it was just a little thicker. Out of the box… I was a bit concerned. It wasn’t very soft and was so full of static I could hardly handle it. I put it into the washer in cold water, on a quick cycle and into the dryer with fabric sheet for about 10 minutes and it came out lovely…no static and much softer. The color is very pretty, dark lavender/plum. It’s more decorative in my usage but certainly comfortable enough to snuggle up in a chair with.
