  • Perfect for Curls Perfect for Curls
Color: Tan
I bought the Bounce Curl Define Brush in beige and I’m really happy with it. It’s one of the best tools I’ve used for curl definition because it helps create smooth, consistent curl clumps and makes my styling results look more uniform. When I use it on wet hair with product, it glides through sections nicely, distributes product more evenly, and helps smooth the hair to reduce frizz and flyaways. A feature I really appreciate is the pointed end at the bottom of the handle. It works like a built-in rat-tail comb, so I can part my hair and make clean sections without needing another tool. That makes the whole routine faster and helps the brush work even better since I can take smaller, more controlled sections. The brush feels sturdy and good quality, and the beige color is really pretty in person. Overall, it’s a great brush if you want stronger definition, better curl clumping, and a smoother finish. I have also had for over a year and only lost one bristle. ... show more

  • Worth it
Color: Pink
Worth the price and a noticeable quality difference between the the more affordable fakes. Gave me beautiful definition from root to tip. Keep in mind this is NOT a detangling brush...you will rip your hair out. Hair needs to me fully detangled, soaking wet, product in, ready to style. The boar bristles are very stiff which make the curls so defined and frizz free. For reference I have type 3 fine high density hair. ... show more

  • Great definition and less frizz
Color: Teal
It's like magic. Somehow using this brush defines my curls and reduces frizz. I've tried every brush known to man. This was recommended by a recent hairstylist and I wish I'd known about it sooner. There's so much you can do with it, even brushing over or under with it can change the volume. For context, I'm super low maintenance, I shampoo and use conditioner and then use oil and now this brush and let it air dry. I don't do any of the other crazy "tricks" you see online. ... show more

  • Girl Dad

I am genuinely astounded by the exceptional performance of this multi-bristle brush. It effectively combines the functionalities of a standard brush and a detangling brush, enabling you to detangle and texturize your hair with each stroke. The additional curling extensions located on the side of the brush are indeed effective when used in conjunction with the appropriate product. For a father, this brush significantly simplifies the process of brushing my daughter’s hair, and my wife has expressed her utmost satisfaction as it saves her time when brushing and styling our daughter’s hair. I firmly believe that this brush can be utilized on various hair types. Furthermore, its lightweight design ensures that it does not exert excessive pressure on your wrist, making it highly convenient to use. Additionally, it is remarkably easy to clean and has proven to be exceptionally durable since its introduction into my routine. ... show more

  • Game-Changer, But Could Grow Mold Game-Changer, But Could Grow Mold
Color: Tan
I have “Irish curls” where my hair is straight on top and doesn’t curl until around my jaw. This brush makes it so this hair is actually wavy/curly! I was taken aback by how easy it is to use. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars in attempts to figure out my hair, but this is likely my favorite purchase. It’s easy to use, but does take a bit of a learning curve. There are plenty of online tutorials to assist. It is not a detangling, but a styling brush only. While it’s expensive, it has a nice weight to it and the bristles are quality so I think it is worth the price. There are a bunch of knockoffs on Amazon, but just get the real deal for $10 or so more. My one problem with this brush is that there is a small hole in the brush that water can get into. Since this brush is to be used while showering or wet styling, water is going to get into that hole. However, it’s too small for you to see if mold is growing. The company (as of when I purchased) hasn’t released guidance on this so I’m going to have to figure out how to clean it myself. ... show more

  • Worked Well, BUT Just Isn't For Me ¯\_(•_•)_/¯
Color: Teal
PRODUCT [Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush, 5-in-1 Tool] PROs - Was delivered on time + well packaged + undamaged - Was a described/depicted per Amazons description (design and color is exactly as shown in the product picture) - Defines textured hair decently well - Was a good weight - Was definitely designed for curly hair + brush styling - Seemed of decent quality material and design CONs - Grip wasn't the best, especially if your hands are wet from damp hair (handle is the same material as the body of the brush which is fairly smooth and a little grainy) - Was, personally, a little rough on my hair when detangling. I'd say the products detangling ability is decent if your hair isn't already super knotty. Applying some sort of conditioner/detangler/curl cream to add slip would also help, in general. - I wouldn't say it was meant for my hair combo. CONCLUSION My hair is 3b-3c Tri-racial curly hair that is very fine, but voluminous. Because my hair is so fine, when I define my hair with this brush the clumps are so big and defined that it looks bad on me. This is because, I need clusters of smaller curls in order for my hair to look full. So, I figured it was worth a try to see if I could up my curl game, and while the brush did its job, I just prefer sticking with running my hands through my hair to get the desired look I'm seeking. Though, it might work best on other people! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... show more

  • A must have for curly hair
Color: Pink
A must have for curly hair . I was introduced to this by a new stylist. This separates your curls and makes them defined. Brush in pieces, slowly from underneath so hair falls into the grooves . Gently shake with your fingers after .

  • Not worth the price
Color: Teal
I have 3c curly hair and it gets frizzy easily. I used to use my unbrush for detangling and styling my hair and it did good, no frizz at my roots but it wasn’t meant for styling and could not separate my curls so I would have to do that. I tried this brush because of reviews and it leaves my roots undefined and very frizzy which looks horrible when the ends are defined. I think it might be the bristles. I kept it when I should have returned it because I loved the way my ends looked but it’s way too expensive and not for all curl types that is for sure. Will be trying the unbrush defining brush next and throw this away. Will never get another brush that has the type of bristles this one has because I have noticed with other brushes like this it damages my hair and makes my curls frizzy and undefined. ... show more
