  • Very good.
Size: One Size
Is a little bit on the heavy side, bit works perfect.

  • Nice disc
Size: One Size
This works well - was able to fine tune my table saw without the interference of saw blade teeth.. Also used sanding discs to make a PERFECT edge for making cutting boards. This was an easy, simple tool that made for perfectly straight edges.

  • I like it
Size: One Size
Before purchasing this particular calibration blade, I bought a similar, no-brand, Chinese-made blade. That blade was terrible—it didn't fit the arbor of my table saw; it was as crooked as my life. This blade from CMT is a completely different story. It fits the 5/8 arbor perfectly. The blade's curvature doesn't exceed 0.05 inches across the entire diameter when rotating. Which, in my opinion, is quite good. So, I'm very happy with my purchase and have no plans to return it. ... show more

  • Shoulda Bought Long Ago
Size: One Size
Great bargain. Makes checking my Makita miter saw for squareness so easy after moving the head back from bevel cutting. The teeth set of regular blade would always get in the way of the machinist square or Makita triangle

Excellent product tk calibrate your saw. It also worked very well as a finish sander.

  • 10"
Size: One Size
I bought this mainly for sanding on my table saw. 180 grit is a nice aggressive paper for a high speed disc. It's quite a game changer for squaring up a piece of wood, rounding a corner or pushing a board by it with the fence to smooth up an edge. Be careful about letting it bite to much or it could send it back at you. I imagine a course grit could get pretty wicked. ... show more

  • Okay, it is flat and it grinds like a pole dancer
Size: One Size
Some have said using this on the table saw will burn wood items. I haven't encountered that problem, but then when I use it I want to remove a lot of material fast, and believe me this will do that! For fine sandpaper jobs, use a hand held or small power sander, this is for grinding a lot of material in a hurry. When I turn it around and use it to set up my tablesaw blade it works very well. 0.002 runout from front to back, pretty flat. I could wish it were a little better than that since my typical tolerance for blade runout on this saw is 0.002 so I have no leeway. The disk itself is 1/8" thick and a full 10" in diameter, plenty of mass, and fits my 5/8" arbor perfectly (I own a JTAS-10XL) so its a keeper. ... show more

  • What an investment!
Size: One Size
I have only started to use this as a sander but being able to calibrate my table saws and radial arm saws is a big plus. I put this on a table saw that is not sutable for accurate cuts. Turning it into a disc sander makes a masseve difference in my woodshop. As with all tools, be responible. With the RPM on a table saw, it can be dangerous or an asset. It's up to the user. As for me, it's a great addition to my shop! ... show more
