Was pleasantly surprised to find the nice quality of the bars and the ease of installation. The bars added a slight more wind noise when driving on a windy day but hardly noticeable. One thing I did not consider that turned out to be a big plus was the height of the crossbars over the roof. I went to wash my car with my wash brush and was relieved to find out that my wash brush easily can go under the bars so I can scrub the roof of my car. Looking at some of the specs of the other bars, I would not have been so happy. Loaded my kayak on, cruised the freeway at 65mph and could not tell there was anything on the roof. Totally stoked.

The trim used to align the rack is 94” long. The picture in the manual showing where to install adds up to 83”. I cannot tell where to install the bars for safe and correct installation. I emailed support and will update the review if they can correct this. Update - support responded and said the distances don’t really matter, as long as the middle ones are 28-35” apart, move them based on size of your load. When instructions specify to the 1/4”, you would think that mattered, but apparently not. Anyways, the rack is well built, looks nice, held up great on our first trip!

I have only had them for a month and have yet to load my kayaks, but they are well built and easily mounted on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Comments regarding noise (whistling) had me concerned, but they are not as loud as the factory units I had on my Subaru Impreza. And so far I have not found them loosening or losing the covers. Time will tell and if I change my mind I will update this review.

We took a long road trip and this rack was instrumental for us to take all our gear. While the rack itself was good, on our way home we lost one of the side covers. The rack itself still works but looks unflattering. Update: after my review, the company reached out to me and provided me with a replacement FREE OF CHARGE! The replacement has stayed on and has resisted multiple long trips. Well worth the money!!

These work great for a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe. They fit well on the car, our J hooks for on them, two kayaks rode fine. It does take a little more maneuvering to get on and off than my older Santa Fe’s racks, and I don’t think the key is a significant security deterrent, more like just another step. It would be easy to break with a screwdriver if someone really wanted in.
