The value proposition is solid for this camera, it does what you buying it for but installing it is an exercise in patience. Everyone who puts the rear camera in the car is going to need to run the rear camera’s cable through a very small wiring grommet. The people who designed this product chose to make an L-shaped end, which makes it almost impossible to feed through tight spaces. If it were straight, this would not be a problem at all, but for whatever reason they chose to make it L-shaped making this task infinitely more difficult. There’s also a round piece just up from the L shaped connector that looks like it should be detachable, which gave me hope but alas, it is not detachable. I am very disappointed with this dash cam. The camera works for only about one minute, or sometimes does not work properly at all, then it shuts down. The camera body also becomes extremely hot to the touch, which is concerning. Also, the product description is not clear enough. The Wi-Fi feature works only for direct connection to the mobile app, not through the internet or cloud access. This was not clearly mentioned in the description. The supercapacitor/power behavior is also disappointing. The camera does not operate without a constant power supply, and this should be explained more clearly to customers. Overall, the product did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it based on my experience. ... show more

Incredible product! The image quality in 4K Ultra HD is spectacular, allowing license plates to be seen with complete clarity thanks to the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. Night vision is among the best I've ever tried, keeping bright colors even in low light. I was looking for a low profile dual dash cam for my 2026 Kia Sorento Hybrid and I found the BOTSLAB G300 PLUS on Amazon. The product is exactly what I expect. I had Best Buy installed it w/ a separately purchased BOTSLAB hardwire kit. The installer messed up the mounting static film. I contacted BOTSLAB customer service and got immediate response. The service rep was prompt and helpful in sending me replacement static film. The dashcam has been performing well in the short time that I have it. The image quality is great for both front and rear footages. I downloaded the BOTSLAB app and after a short learning curve I was connected to the dashcam. I can set up the dashcam directly on the product or through the app. I am happy w/ the product and the customer service team! Looking forward to many years with it ... show more
