I have bought the of these. The Boss unit works great. Got one that is getting pretty old and it works like new. This one is in my 2003 Ford Crown Vic. It blows people away to see it in the old hoopty. I have called Boss customer service on another item and they answer and they help.

To be perfectly honest I was a hard no on Boss forever but I recently saw a trusted source do a video on a different head unit so I figured I would give them a try. I never thought about buying a product from Boss before because they frankly flat out Lie on their amplifier power ratings add to that the name recognition of very cheap Walmart crap and you can see why. Pushing aside my prejudices against them I pulled the trigger and bought this head unit. Right off the bat I’ll tell you I’m super impressed with the quality of the wiring harness. Not only is the wire a decent size and quality each individual wire is clearly labeled on the wire and it’s plenty long enough. The potentiometer on the volume knob seems to turn as you would expect and everything looks great. Granted I have not installed it so I can’t say how it’s gonna sound however I never use the supplied power for anything anyway I will only be using the RCA plugs to my amps. IMO To have a good stereo ya need a dedicated amplifier or 3. I also really like the adjustability of the screen. It’s gonna look killer. If it sounds bad I’ll edit.

Installed on 2004 Toyota Camry. I used trim kit purchased on Amazon. Overall, nice big screen and mostly functions as it should (using Android Auto). A couple issues I have noticed...."Play" button freezes from time to time when playing audio through Android Auto. You can pause audio, but then "Play" button freezes and cannot restart audio. You have to restart audio on your phone. Another observation...System is a little slow to start up....but for the price you are paying, you have to expect this unit is not going to be blazing fast. Overall, 4 stars given the two items mentioned.

Update submitted a return request on Jan 27 and they didn’t contact me till feb 1 and said it’s out of their hands I’m outside the return window and to deal with the manufacturer what a load of crap Bought this in October and right off the bat thought it was a cool radio big clear screen CarPlay worked great. Then after awhile started acting up which didn’t bother me till the last couple days start my truck screen is black then after a bit comes back on. Today stayed black every time I got in the truck. Unfortunately won’t buy another one

I bought this to replace my Pioneer 7 inch unit in my work vehicle. I do a lot of driving up and down the east coast and wanted a bigger screen. I looked at the Alpine Halo units, but, it's hard to justify spending 5 times as much for one of those as opposed to this unit. Took me about an hour to install in a 2016 Ford Transit 150. Already head the dash kit and wiring adapter from the previous head unit, just had to splice the wires together, install the microphone and fit in the dash. After turning the display on, wow! very impressed. The size increase is great, the resolution is very good, sure, not full HD but for what its for it is more than enough. Sound is very good, I adjusted the EQ to fit to my tastes and I am very impressed. Uploaded my own background (not pictured), set the FM presets, changed the RGB lighting to blue to match the rest of the lights in the vehicle and set up is finished. I use Android auto from my personal phone, but also have Apple Carplay on my work phone. Both look great on this screen. I am looking forward to seeing how this holds up and using it on the road. With an Amazon discount of 20% I paid around $275 for this and honestly, I don't think you could find anything better anywhere near this price. Sure, it's not an Alpine Halo, but it's also not $1000 - $1500 and I can live with that :-)

Received the system March 4th 2023 had it professionally installed on the 5th and to date I've had to literally reboot it at least 8-10 times. One time literally so bad I called for a refund. BUYER BEWARE, in order to even start the refund process, you will have to pay again to take it out & ship it to them...Which I think is wrong because it hasn't been a month & the system is showing bad faults. Dont get ne wrong, its a decent system if you wanna chance on getting a good one... so for me by time I pay for take out and reinstalled, it'll be the amount paid for the system or more, so imma just chalk it up as a loss. Never again will I purchase any type of electronics from this company!!

Fits great, installation was easy. Installed and operational in 3 hours, which included wiring up adapter harness (sold separately) installed in 93 f150. Covers HVAC controls slightly when at lowest position, but can be slid up for clear access. Best upgrade to my interior.
