  • Better than a normal battery
After installing the battery on my old beater I used the car for a month and someone hit my car. I kept the car but it sat while the guy that hit it worked on it for months. I’m honestly surprised it still started with no problem. Fantastic battery and it holds a charge very well. I can’t imagine it leaving me stranded ... show more

  • Great battery, so far so good.
Installed this battery 2 weeks ago in my Subaru forester to keep her going through the bitter northern Montana winter. Right away I noticed the engine cranks over much faster when starting. So far the weather's been pretty mild with a few mornings around 10F. The battery's been doing great- on those colder mornings the engine cranks over just as fast as in warmer weather and starts the subie right up. I can't speak for how the battery holds up over the long run, but let's hope it just keeps doing the same as it is now! **Update as of 11/20/23** All I can say is that this has been one incredible battery! It's now nearly 9 years since I put this battery in my Subaru Forester. I never expected it to last this long- 4 brutal winters in MT and 4.5 more, somewhat less brutal, in central WA and this battery is still rockin!! I've never charged it once, as it's never gone dead. It is, however, cranking over more slowly on cold mornings, so I'm considering changing it out with a new Bosch AGM battery to see if I can get 9 more years of reliable service out of the ole Subie (currently 290,000 miles!). I can't speak to all Bosch AGM batteries, but this particular one has been remarkable in its longevity! ... show more

  • Battery arrived 1-day earlier than promised
Only 4-stars as I've not actually installed this year. Have been enduring so many car not starting issues with this 2011 V6 Toyota RAV I got about 1 1/2 yrs ago with less than 45,000 miles. Bought a new battery. Didnt matter. A week later it was dead. Had to call tow service so many times I had to up my membership to gold to allow for 12 road service calls a yr. Even had to have the car towed to the nearest dealer 85 miles away and back. Everyone said cant find a thing wrong with this car. Really!? So all cars of this make just eat batteries and dont start? Lovely. Ended up getting a trickle charge put on the battery to plug into the wall anytime I'm not driving it. Oh yeah, was told it was my fault that I dont drive it enough to charge the batteries. Read from a mechanic that 9x out of 10, he has to replace batteries on Toyota RAVs and their Van, due to a parasitic drain caused by the power steering set up. So, hoping this battery can enable me to pull the plug on my car as having to be plugged in certainly can put a limit on where you can go with your car. If this battery cant save it, next is selling it. Dont look forward to that. ... show more

  • Awesome Starting Power
I replaced a Diehard lead acid battery that failed in under a year with this Bosch AGM battery for my Mazda 3. It’s a little smaller than the battery tray but won’t be a problem once I secure it with the brackets. I’m very pleased with how well it turns the engine over to start, and it appears to have alleviated the lower power faults the “old” battery was causing. I’ll update if my opinion changes, but 2 days in, I’m glad that I chose a higher-end battery. ... show more

  • Love AGM Batteries but not as of 6-2020
My last car had a Sears AGM battery that went 5 years+. That was a great battery. I've only had this battery for several weeks now but I'm pretty happy with it so far. I like this one for two reasons. First, it has a built in handle that basically folds down into the battery so that it is out of the way. With other batteries, AGM or regular, they seem to have a built in strap that arcs over the top of the battery so either you're going to have to cut it in order to get a top battery bracket to mount in place or be lucky enough that the battery strap can be positioned out of the way. If you end up cutting the strap, you'll have a tough time removing the battery if it becomes necessary for one reason or another. Secondly it has more reserve power than the standard battery that it replaced. I run quite a few accessories and I find this to be a bonus. If I had a complaint, it would be that the battery is too small for my battery tray even though I installed the recommended group (size) battery. It's being held firmly in place by the battery bracket but I would have felt better if the battery's footprint matched the tray. Update 6-2020: The battery has failed after 4 years. I'm a little disappointed by that since you pay a premium for an AGM battery. My last AGM battery went 5 years+. The only reason this battery died was because my truck sat in my driveway for several weeks during the COVID-19 quarantine and no matter how much I drove it after I jumped-started the battery, it would die a day or 2 later. This happened repeatedly. I see it's currently available on Amazon, for a while it wasn't At that time I had ordered a Northstar battery from Amazon (see my review- stay away). AGM batteries are great if you run a lot of accessories and they also have a lot of cold cranking amps. If you have a big engine or a high compression motor or just need to be able to start your car up on a cold winter day this battery is more expensive but I had hoped it would have delivered longer service. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. • Very pleased
If you think for a minute you have to replace your battery, this is a good deal if it fits your vehicle. I have not had a problem with this

  • Died after 1 year
Worked for a year then it died. They told me they would replace it but I had to pay for the shipping and I couldn’t take it anywhere local. Even if I was ok with paying shipping I’d be without my car until the replacement showed up. Not the greatest customer service or battery. Buy local
