I loved the these counter stools, because are the perfect size for what I was looking for. I since my rental didn’t had a dining area I wanted the island to have sitting area all the way around and these stools fit perfectly under the 12 inches hang over quartz, so there are not on your way when you do food prepping. Great for shallow bar overhangs like mine. It's a budget stool for those looking for something inexpensive. That being said, they look very nice - no defects or issues with the construction. Assembly was a simple 8-screw affair with the enclosed tool. I'm pretty forgiving with budget furniture, but the one thing I didn't like was that the "wood plugs" (those plugs you put in to hide the screws) are nowhere near the color of the stool and are far too visible for my taste. However, I found once I was done with assembly and placed them in the dining area, it was less noticable. They also pop out and will probably need to be glued in if I decide to keep them (might look better without them all together). All in all, a decent product for the price and works great in my new, downsized home. ... show more

Easy to put together and very sturdy! I was nervous about the other reviews who showed the collapsed stools, i think it’s definitely user error. if you’re not intentional about the screws and such, it’ll be wobbly and could collapse but they are sturdy and great for us!

The stools are as described. They have a small footprint, so could tip if someone flops down carelessly. I think they're fine, but my spouse was complaining about it. I'll show him by giving the stools 5 stars anyway. They're very attractive. They were very easy to assemble. All the holes lined up perfectly. These stools are poorly made objects that cannot hold adult weight safely. The stool pictured collapsed while being sat in by a guest, thankfully no one was hurt but everyone - everyone - was incredibly embarrassed. Customer service didn't respond at all to the possible danger present. We reached out saying 'hey, someone could have been hurt, what do you want to do..?' and they pretty much ignored it. Saying we could have a coupon to give them more money - or - we could pay to ship back the defective furniture. Save yourself the embarrassment, work with a better company and product than what is represented here. ... show more
