They look like they would be uncomfortable but they are actually pretty comfy! They're decently sturdy and look really good. They were very easy to put together and a great price. Only thing that's annoying is the wood texture catches on some clothes

For the price, this stool does the job. My only complaint is the narrowness of the seat. It's just not that comfortable because the surface area isn't quite big enough, in my opinion (and we aren't big people!). However, the finish is lovely, the stool is sturdy and the quality is good. So, if you are looking for a stool that gets occasional use, this is a good option, especially for the price and the look. But if you are looking to spend a lot of time in this seat, pay attention to the seat dimensions, which likely means you'll be spending a lot more money! ... show more

I’m writing this review 2 years after I bought them because I am currently having to replace ALL stools. The screws that are meant to hold the seat in place FALL OUT at will, and on all stools! You can’t retighten them-the screw will just turn for eternity. I have tried gluing the screws in-gluing the seats down. Honestly-purchasing new stools has been LONG overdue.
