When my Mom needed new dining room chairs, and we couldn't find anything she liked in the local stores, I knew I was going to have to order chairs online. How scary! I'm not used to buying furniture like this that you have to assemble yourself. I was nervous. But... it turns out I worried for nothing! We chose these chairs for several reasons: their style, which was impossible to find in the stores, their dark walnut color, and their price. The style is simple and quite pretty; also very functional. They have soft edges, which I love. They are very user friendly. They feel nice in your hand when you pull them out from the table. They are steady and have a nice weight to them. The color is rich and beautiful and matched my Mom's table perfectly. They also lend themselves well to cushions. We used the kind you tie on the the back. The chairs are easy to clean, if needed. The height is just right for a standard dining table. As for assembly... it wasn't that bad. My husband and I took the afternoon and put four of them together. The hardware and pieces were clearly marked and the directions made sense. We needed four chairs, so bought a couple of the 2-packs. These chairs are really nice. They are made well and not too hard to assemble. We did remove the piece on the bottom of the legs and replaced with small pads as the originals made the chairs slide too easily on my floor. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

These chairs are very well designed, have simple, easy to follow assembly instructions, and are very sturdy and well constructed. In addition, they are beautiful. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble the first chair, 30 minutes for the second. Great chairs, well worth the money.

So far the chairs are great. They are sturdier and more comfortable than expected. The assembly instructions were possibly the best I have ever seen. They were very easy to follow. The chairs took about 15 minutes to assemble.

    • Most Comfortable Wood Chair Ever

Delightfully cheered to see the seat is wider than an airplane seat. It is not only beautiful, it is very comfortable. I can sit against the chair back and not have my back hurting. The chair legs have nylon bumpers on the bottom so they won’t scratch your wood floors. Very easy to assemble. Needed a Phillips screwdriver in addition to the tool they provided. A separate pack of hardware and tool for each chair was provided. This is the most comfortable non padded dining room chair I have ever had and I am 80. I don’t have a table yet but may be purchasing more of these chairs. They are nice enough for the living room and bedroom. ... show more

I read other reviews. A little orange can be nice. I love pumpkin color. Here is what is good about the set (2 stars): Price. Inexpensive .BUT I REGRET BUYING AND FEEL MISLEAD MY STOCK PHOTOS> WOULD RETURN IF I COULD! Amazon is offering a return well the huge boxes got rain soaked plus the table box arrived damaged so I would have to load these rain soaked boxes in our minivan, disassemble the set, and hope to get these back in the boxes. I think Amazon should pick them up without boxes. These are 40 minutes away. My time and gas! I like the protectors on the chairs and table top. Well packaged but one chair did have a crack in the leg. Amazon was very good about that. OVERALL WHAT DISAPPOINTS ME: We have a small dining room so this atrocious table and chair set is front and center as the star of the dining area. It is not too big for the space but it is what you will notice.6 chairs and a table with tax nearly five hundred. Enough to be a waste! To have to keep this set because to resell it locally no one would buy it for the low price we paid, HURTS! It was inexpensive but still enough money to be a waste. I want a table set that sparks joy. This tabletop stain and seats is way too orange and clashes. I think the stain looks cheap too. we have classic oak, some dark woods, and cherry. This stain looks terrible in our small dining area. I already was sad to move so this table does nothing to make me feel better. I had hope. We assembled the chairs yesterday. Then we got the table assembled today. Table had no damage but way too orangey. If you like pumpkin orange/black then this is your set. I feel like I wasted my money and also feel the photos are misleading and even with warnings from other reviewers I was shocked at how much these chairs and table top seem orange. :( Overall quality is good for price but mean little to me with the look being so off. ... show more
