I dont do many reviews. However, if something deserves it i will. You really only need to know 4 things: - Its bright! The brightest floor flight ive ever used. Im very impressed. It took a 20x20 room and 2 of them completely light it up. - The Dimming Feature is nice. A remote option would be better... but im sure it would cost more The bad - The base is to small and its very easy to topple. Its durable and light weight... so not many issues. However, its annoying on carpet. Just keep that in mind if your using carpet and have pets or small kids - Its not the easiest to put together... but its not bad. Took me 15 minutes per light. Its hard to fix this... Its because of the cord. If the cord is too long, its a pain. If the cord is too short its a pain... I had issues with both being to short and long while putting it together, so be prepared to spend a bit of time assembling. - Bonus - Yes The LEDs are permanent. You can change them... at least im pretty sure. Most LEDs have insane lifetimes these days. You should get a couple 1000 hours i would think. If it dissapoints ill update If you need a floor lamp, get this... It will be my go too.

This lamp was pretty easy to assemble - really just a matter of screwing the rods together and pulling the power cord through. It worked the first time. It IS easy to dim and brighten, if you pay attention to the "short" vs. "long" press requirement - Short touch (really touch, there's nothing to press) on and off. Long touch, dim or brighten. And in answer to my own question (which I deleted because someone gave a completely wrong and useless answer) - if you've got it dimmed and turn it off (short touch), when you turn it on again (short touch) it keeps the same brightness level you'd previously set. I would expect, as with other LED lamps I've had, that if the power goes out, or the lamp is unplugged, the brightness setting will be lost, but not hard to reset. The color/temperature of the light is good, too... warm rather than harsh white. Overall, good lamp!

Assembling this lamp was simple enough, and I like the color of the light and how easy it is to dim or brighten. It won't work on a timer, though. Once you turn the power off and on, you have to push the button to turn the lamp on. It's in a room that I like to have a light on a timer when I go away and I will need to set up something else. That's my only disappointment, and I don't know how I could have known that when I ordered it.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the reviews...but it really was as advertised. The dimmer is different than what I've ever seen on a lamp but totally works great. It looks great and at such a fair price. I really needed to brighten up an area of my dining room and this lamp was the answer! It is skinny & tall and takes up no space, almost just blends into the corner. I highly recommend!

The lamp assembles prettty easily, if you read the instructions and do it in order (although I was not looking forward to unassembling it when I was considering sending it back). Bright enough BUT only lights upward, as "pan" area is black metal and lets no light through to side or bottom areas. The picture actually shows this, but I did not really understand it, before I had it assembled and connected. This lamp IS dimmable, and the dimming mechanism DOES work, bit it is a little touchy and often has to be attempted multiple times, (which is a little annoying when you are in a hurry). No remote, so you have to stand next to it and hold in the on/off button to dim it. Lowest brightness is enough to keep a room slightly lit, for nighttime navigation. Stand is adequate, but base is a bit less sturdy on my, saltillo tile floor than ideal,and might be problematic on some carpet . For many purposes it might be a fine lamp, depending on your room setup and patience with the dimmer.

We use this Torchiere Floor Lamp in our home office next to our desk. It has provided good illumination for reading. We especially like the illuminated on-off switch which is visible when the lamp is turned off.

This Torchiere floor lamp doesn't use a light bulb. It has a unique light source that can go from soft dim to bright which focuses up it giving room overall light. The reading light is also unique with a similar light source. The light buttons are turned and not clicked low, med and high, you can determine the amount of light you desire. It fits nicely into a corner area beside our furniture. Quite lovely, good color and easy to put together. We are very pleased.

So I'll start with the normal pros and cons. Easy to setup, is sleek, modern, fits nicely in any corner. Like the height, especially if you have tall ceilings. Has very good brightness, warm white, and the dimmer is a nice touch. The brightest setting is almost too bright, but with dimmer, you can customize. The dimmer is a little awkward as you have to hold it in for a few seconds to let it cycle all the way through (and if you miss, you have to let it cycle through again). But not a deal breaker as you probably won't have to mess with dimming once you get it where you want it... Unless, read on! Now, on to the reason I gave this 2 stars. In this day and age, with many homes transitioning to "smart" homes with switches and plugs that can be controlled via apps, voice, or scheduled, this falls way short. The advertised memory function on this lamp only applies if you use the on/off switch on the actual lamp. If you plug this into a smart switch or plug to try to control it through smart apps or voice, you will lose any memory... this includes the memory of whether it was on or off!!! If you turn this lamp off via plugged in smart switch, when you turn the smart switch back on, the lamp stays off. You have to manually turn it back on from the lamp on/off button. So it is completely useless in a smart home. It's the 21st century, get your appliances to at least have memory when you plug or unplug them. And don't advertise that it has "memory" function when that's not completely true or is only partially true.
