It's not a bad shredder. It works well, just not for long. It gets overheated and you have to let it sit. I have an old shredder that I ran for several hours, but you can't feed more than 2 at a time. This one can handle more as long as you don't need it for big jobs.

Needed this for privavcy protection when it comes to mail and documents I no longer needed but had private, sensitive information on it. It is pretty heavy duty and can handle thick stacks and documents while being able to shred different things from cds to ids to folders. Delivered the next day.

    • Be aware that this is an Annual Shredder (lasts only a year), not a Perennial Shredder ...
I've had Bonsaii shredders before, and other shredders, too, over the years. This one lasted the LEAST amount of time. It is for occasional use, and I take care to not overheat it, and to lubricate it with namebrand lubricating sheets. It worked decently okay, no complaints. But a week post the warranty, the shredder began jamming paper and pulling to the side, while also not cross-cutting anymore, so that the long strips got tangled and would not allow the shredder to work. I literally had to stop the shredder and clear the accumulated paper balls of tangled strips after every piece of paper. Lubricating didn't work. Reversing and clearing the heads didn't work. It just makes a mess now, and it is a hazard because the blades jam. So ... it is no longer workable. So, buyer beware. It was not very expensive, but if you need to buy one every year ... it adds up. And I needed to buy another one. So ... just know that while it may work for a bit, apparently this is an Annual Shredder, not a Perennial Shredder. ... ... show more
