I tried to add new shelving in a closet to give my wife additional storage space for hanging clothes. I checked the walls of the closet with a stud finder and electrical wiring detector. I detected assorted wiring for electric lines to the attic. One was for the air-handler which i didn't want to hit. It was time for a freestanding clothes rack. I checked Amazon and came upon the Raybee clothes rack which fit the space perfectly. I was able to erect the shelving in a few hours. My wife had a few suggestions on configuring it which took about a half hour. She especially liked the longer rack in the middle to hang her longer dresses. We used this after my husband lost a lot of weight so we could pull clothes out of his closet by size, try them on and organize his closet with only clothes that fit. This thing was harder to unbox than put together. It has a lot of flexibility in ways you can assemble it and is fairly easy to change the design to better fit your needs as you use it. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased so I was very confident in ordering and receiving this . It’s packaged for shipping very well and I received my box in great time! It took my husband and I less than 40 minutes to completely put it together after unboxing. My clothes fit perfectly on the upper and lower racks , but my husband who is over 6ft tall - his clothes puddle on the shelves even though we put the lower shelf as low as it could go. We put his dress shirts in the middle so they will hang without wrinkling . It will work great for what we need it for but keep in mind if your needing this for dress clothes you don’t want wrinkled you might get one that doesn’t have a middle shelf for 2 hanging racks. I assembled this alone and had no problem doing it without a second person. I am 62 years old and only 5'3" tall, so I did have to stand on a chair to put the top shelves on and to give them a little whack at the end on top, per the instructions. It only took me 40 minutes to put this together, and I went very slowly and methodically. I did sit the day before and read through the instructions a couple of times, so I would be familiar with the process. We will use this for our "Foster Care Essentials" organization and once we have the coats on matching wooden hangers, the overall look will be very professional. The unit is very sturdy and arrived on time and in excellent condition. The packaging was such that everything was protected. You can see that there isn't a ton of room on top because the ceilings in our space are rather low, but we still are able to fit a ton on this. I would not hesitate to purchase this.
