I did what I usually do when I plant seeds, I soaked for 24 hours like it said, then placed the seed into a paper towel in a ziplock bag, and placed into a dark space to “pre sprout” them. I did 2 of the flame tree seeds and about 3/4 of each of the others. 1 flame tree seed broke open so that’s the one I planted of the 2. None of the other seeds broke open, so I planted them all just for the heck of it and a week later so far I only have the one flame tree growing. I’ll give another week as it says and try it again with the other 4 tree types. A week and a half later the Black Pine sprouted as well!

We haven’t started the process yet and once we do it can take weeks to a month to see if the seeds sprout. I will update the review as time passes because if you plan to grow bonsai seeds it can take years! The review currently is on the materials and directions. The seeds looks to be in great condition. The small tools are cute and feel sturdy enough for a bonsai tree; don’t try and use these outdoors haha. The five bags to start the germination in are good quality and have drainage holes. The coconut husk is awesome and I didn’t expect that to be in the kit. So far so good! We start the planting process today 1/6/26!

Bought this product as a gift for a friend. Seeds have not grown or barely have a stub. Should have read all the reviews before purchasing. Paid more than yhe going price at this point. Not worth it.

This shipped quickly and I received it in 2 days. Everything was included. Not sure if we'll actually use the rectangular wooden box to grow the plants in but it is really nice, better than I expected. We just planted the seeds (which looked to be in good shape) indoors and have it set up under grow lights. While we're avid plant lovers and growers this is our first time doing a Bonsai. 🤞 Well, actually, we also just started a weed plant bonsai and that's about 6 weeks into the growing process and already has a few bends. It's really taking shape! 🤩 I'll come back to update with pictures (and possibly video) on any one of these five little trees throughout the entire process. Wish us luck! 🤞🙏😜 🤔 💭 I wish that Amazon would make it possible for people to comment on reviews, or at least send messages for those who are interested in receiving them.
