I love this product and thought I would share my process. I bought this item almost a week ago and I’ve done research on each seed to optimize germination rate. If you’re looking for a tree to start growing ASAP, start with the acacia. I recommend soaking in water until you see the seed get double in size. I recommend putting them in a damp paper towel then in a ziplock bag. I got my first sprout on the second day. Then you plant. There are some trees (red maple, sakura, and black pine) that are included that need cold stratification (leaving in moss/perlite in a bag and putting it in the fridge or you can just plant during winter season and leave them outside) The wisteria can be soaked/planted, I’m experimenting to see which ones sprout first, but according to my research putting them in a container with a wet paper towel (needs humidity) will work the best. I received my bonsai seeds and soaked 2 of them in water and 1 seed was good and I planted it and it sprouting up now and shipping was fast and the price for all of these bonsai trees and variety is really great. I followed the instructions and done as it says to do and I've gotten great results.I recommend this product. Thanks

Got this as a gift for my boss as he really wanted a bonsai tree and he has a great grand thumb. So far. He says that it worked really great for him so if nothing else the smile on him. His face when he received it was well worth it.

I felt this was a well-made kit for the long and tedious process of growing Bonsai trees, I unfortunately could not get any of the seeds to sprout. I even followed the cards instructions and then researched some alternate methods on my own. Came with a lot of seeds, so I am going to try again in the spring/summer when I can get more warmth for germination of the seeds. Soil pucks actually made a lot of soil, kind of surprised me. Could see anywhere that had the age of the kit. Maybe the seeds are too old, but most seem fine at a glance.

I got this as a Christmas gift and was worried it wouldn’t grow but… some worked some didn’t! But once I got to this point there is no instructions! But it’s been fun to see what is growing and how fast the Acacia took off!
