I just set it up. Super sturdy, heavy base, and the perfect aesthetic too. To those saying it flickers and stuff, it actually has a note in the instructions that says certain bulbs don't work with the dimmable feature and can cause flickering. I guess I'll find out when I need a new bulb. The only con I've found is that the plug comes out the front when all the poles are tightened. I would prefer it come out the back. I can maybe figure out a way to loosen just enough to make that happen but not sure. ... show more

I spent a lot of time comparing similar lamps before going with this one - I didn't want something that was going to tip over if I bumped it as it would be in my main living room. I am so happy I went with this one! The base of this lamp is heavy and when I push the neck of the lamp or make adjustments to the lamp shade it doesn't wobble at all! I bought this lamp for a reading nook in my master bedroom. It’s very pretty and was what I was expecting. The dimmer is neat but I just wish it had like a button you could press with your foot to turn off and on. You have to bend down to the ground to turn off and on this lamp
