I had several Dollar Tree solar lights that quit working, so I took the chance that it was just the battery. I took them apart and most had the AAA size, 2 had a smaller size marked 2/3AAA. Replacing the battery, to my surprise, the battery was precharged and they all lit up! They two smaller ones, I did some alterations with my knife and some electrical tape, they work too!. Using my Amazon cash back, it broke down to .35 cents a battery. Cheaper than buying new lights!

On receipt of my package I tested all 20 cells using a La Crosse BC-900 battery charger and a MaximalPower FC1000 smart charger which both have a test mode that shows the total mAh available for each cell. The results indicate the that 1 cell is 605 mAh and 17 are between 520 mAh and 582 mAh. Unfortunately 2 cells indicate they are null and cannot be charged. I believe the 18 good cells are close enough to the advertised 600 mAh and the numbers may increase after they are charged a few more times. I do not want to return all 20 cells but I would like a replacement for the 2 defective cells. I contacted BONAI directly by email but so far no reply. If I get my extra 2 cells I will update my review. Update A week after I contacted BONAI I received replacement batteries. Changing my rating to 5 stars for excellent customer service.

I purchased these in AAA and AA sizes for use in outdoor solar lights. They do not last more than a few weeks. It appears they don't charge enough in that application and have to be changed more frequently. Also, am pretty sure the AA size "fried" a couple of my lights as they would come on before it was dark, battery would run down by the time it was dark, then would come on when they had charged the next day. Overall, less expensive than you'll pay for "name brand," but not sure at this point if that savings is worth using twice the quantity and damaged items I used them in.
