Not super bright. Plastic hooks on lights that you hang them up by are cheap - a couple have cracked in the few weeks they have been up. using the remote is somewhat fiddly - it tends to come on in a random mode or something, not what I left it on. For instance, it seems to come on the "breathe" mode where it fades in and out. I don't like that so always have it on something else when turn it off... but quite often that's what mode it comes on in, but not always. It just does what it wants when it comes on. Once you change the mode and intensity level, though it does stay put, so happy with that. adjusting intensity from remote is nice, I like that. plug is on the big side so sticks out, but not a deal breaker. Bulbs globes are plastic - I like that as if they get whacked, won't shatter all over. Light is, as expected, a warm white, so very pleasing "color temperature" for chilling out on the deck where I put them. These were considerably cheaper than "similar" lights at local wholesale club and WAY cheaper than those at home improvement stores. So solid 4 stars for the price and I'd definitely buy again and recommend them. ... show more

The lights arrived completely tangled, and it took me ~2 hours to untangle them. That's really low-energy guys. The lights don't come off the assembly line pre-tangled. The lights themselves are a good quality compared to others I have tried, and brightness is "adequate". I'm using these lights for the attic, so I didn't want to spend $200+ on lights that would get ~3 hours of use per year. The lights don't seem to get hot or even warm, and the plastic outer-shell protecting the LED bulbs is great to have. ... show more

i have this thing lining my fence in the backyard to try and light things up a little. and it does light things up, a little. remote is a little finicky, but sometimes i have to press the button a few times. but i've never had to walk over and touch the controls at the outlet.

The media could not be loaded. After reading the reviews, people were saying they weren't very bright but they give off plenty of light in the backyard as you can see the before and after pictures. I went on Google maps satellite view to plan out the design in my backyard and measured out how many feet I would need (it was about 130ft, but since the string lights hang/bow and don't go perfectly straight, I ended up using almost all 150ft, so take that into account when measuring.) ... show more

I love the mood affect that these string lights add and the ability to go from 25%-100%. They were easily hung on my pergola and the remote is an added bonus...soooo convenient! The only change I would make is battery-operated vs. plug-in. I don't care for hanging wires so I taped the cord from the string lights along the pole the connects the pergola to the deck and the extension cord was hidden on the side of the deck. However, it would've been nice to just add batteries, hang and let it shine. I definitely plan to purchase more to hang around my sunroom unless I find string lights (with these same features) that are battery-operated. ... show more

I ordered a 2-pack so eventually I hope to hang it from the edge of the roof and have a complete circuit of the backyard.
