  • Bog Death grip Aluminum Tripod, a great value
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
This is a great tripod for under $160. I used this tripod for a week hunting deer from a ground blind and had zero issues. it is so solid that i had complete confidence in making a 200 yard shot. It has 25 degrees of up and down tilt and can rotate 360 degrees. The legs adjust easily and lock solidly in place. The top clamp will hold your rifle firmly and still allow you to rotate the rifle and tilt it up and down while it's clamped in place. It has a max height of 5'8" and can be adjusted low enough for sitting and prone shooting. Bog tripods range greatly in price with the carbon fiber model costing over $350. The basic black aluminum tripod has all of the same features as the CF model and only weighs one pound more. Don't waste your money on a more expensive model. I highly recommend this tripod And would buy it again. ... show more

  • It’s like a bench vise for rifles that still moves in all directions. It’s brilliant!
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
This thing is so awesome! Especially if you’re around 6’ tall.. I’m 6’1” and it’s perfect for me fully extended, I can stand up straight, comfortably and still precisely shoot with no problem. Even If you’re shorter than that, don’t worry it’ll adjust to your comfort level even if you want to lay down flat. Also, The rubber padded bench vise style grip holds whatever rifle you choose with as much strength as you’d ever need & it’s completely adjustable, I even use it to site with! It’s got levels, locks, whatever you want! It’s very versatile and durable! I love mine it’s a brilliant invention and very simple and easy to use. There’s no assembly at all. It’s just fantastic! ... show more

  • Death Grip “PERFECT”
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
One word,” Perfect “. As a result of my medical condition I could no longer hold my rifle steady enough to ethically deer hunt. A friend told me about Bog Death Grip and should check it out. I was skeptical at first, but if it ment I could again enjoy deer hunting , I’d give it a shot and try it out. Wow, I could hold the cross hairs steady in the Death Grip Tripod. I’m looking forward to once again ethically and responsibly, enjoying hunting without the fear of maiming, injuring and losing deer needlessly ... show more

  • Rock Solid and Ready for the Hunt
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
The BOG Deathgrip tripod has become my absolute go-to shooting rest for hunting! This thing is incredibly heavy-duty and built like a tank. It holds my rifle so securely that I have zero worries about it tipping or falling over, which gives me a ton of confidence in the field. I really love the adjustable elevation and windage movements. They are smooth and make it super easy to get on target and stay there. If you're looking for a solid, reliable shooting rest, this is definitely the one to get. ... show more

  • Sturdy tripod.
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
This is a great tripod. Purchased this for my kids to use with a crossbow. The padding on the leg makes it comfortable to carry. It's not too big, and the height adjustments lock out perfectly. Very easy to level out. Would recommend.

  • Great but found one issue
Style: DeathGrip Mossy Oak Bottomlands Material Type: Aluminum
Glad I read the reviews before I sent this back. I wanted a sturdy tripod capable of tracking moving targets smoothly. When the item arrived the head was extremely tight, was hard to turn 360* and not smooth at all. I thought for a minute that this tripod was for stationary use only which wasn’t what I wanted. The instructions provided didn’t help at all. After reading a review I loosened the 5mm screw hidden under a rubber plug on the bottom of the head and just like magic everything works great. Unfortunately there is nothing in the instructions that shows or details how to adjust this screw. So instead of 5 stars I gave it 4. It’s a great tripod. A bit heavy but built to last. Just needs better instructions that detail how each part of this tripod work. I suggest getting a 5mm Allen wrench and keeping it with you in case this needs adjustment. This screw is critical to how the head of the tripod move side to side. Photos provided. ... show more

  • Short and sweet review
Style: DeathGrip Black Material Type: Aluminum
A little pricey but this tripod offers a lot and is worth it for most cases. I will say, it has a hard time keeping a grip on larger caliber firearms (45-70) but rarely, other than target shooting, do I shoot more than one round in succession.

  • Rock solid and steady platform.
Style: DeathGrip Mossy Oak Bottomlands Material Type: Aluminum
I'm not as steady as I use to be. The Bog is rock solid. I had to field change a scope and it worked great helping me sight it in without a proper rest. My son loves shooting from it also. Only negative thing I can come up with is the weight. It's A little cumbersome and gets heavy on long hikes. A shoulder stap would be a great addition. ... show more
