I’m hypermobile and constantly roll and sprain my ankles. These braces add just that slight bit of extra stability I need. They’re very adjustable, fit well into shoes, and after a while of near daily use they still keep their elasticity. Don’t use on a bare foot like in the photo though or the grips on the inside of the wrap will pinch and tear at your skin. Always wear with socks. ... show more

I just got back from a 9 day 112 mile hike at Isle Royale National Park. After about 15 miles of hiking, my left ankle started to hurt. I truly feel this made it possible for me to finish the hike with 40lbs on my back.

They do give nice stability for my ankles that have been injured multiple times. I have bad swelling and they seem to help offer stability but they do rub and are stiffer and itchier than I had hoped for. I have to wear socks or my md ordered edema wear (for swelling) to protect from blisters.

I have small ankles which swell some during walking. I apply these before walk - before 1-2 mile walk; applied moderately tight, very helpful but not 100%. I still have to stop and stretch multiple times, but the worst pain is solved by these supports. The price is right also; as for fit in shoes, I wear EW shoes and these fit inthe shoes on top of an insert I also have for neuropathy. Not a problem, as long as I tie laces fairly loose. Tho for life in general I wear just wide shoes, not EW, I would not wear ankle support for usual living, just for lots of walking. ... show more
