A great go anywhere gym that is
I do like this product but I think there is fake reviews on here. I gave a great review, full stars, but I said it doesn’t replace a gym for a few reasons which I explained — then the next review following states unequivocally it replaces a gym. So yeah, some of these reviews I think are faked. Also I noticed that a few reviews were from a kickstarter so yeah ur not gonna get the service of someone who funded them, lol. So yeah it’s a good product for sure but I’m kinda getting a shady feeling. They must have folks on here to give reviews for ‘em. Lol. I’m just thinking that’s true. Also I note that for a really fit person this might be ok to maintain fitness on a trip or something it really won’t replace a home gym or membership. Just looking for something easy to throw in the trunk or boot depending on where ur from — yes This is good to do that with.i move a lot so this is good for me. But there is no real cardio component. Yes u can incorporate some cardio but not enough to replace a home gym or gym membership or some other cardi. And let’s face it most folks like a cardio machine, easy on the joints, etc. good for what it is but it does not replace a gym. So below is my original review. And I Am a real person. I just received my BodyBoss today and I’ve done my first workout with it. I am pretty impressed. i loved the color — i got pink. I’m really happy with my purchase so far. I thought it was a little pricey and I was concerned that I might be too short to use this product. I’m 4ft 9 inches tall. But that’s not the case — I get plenty of resistance from the bands and there is plenty of room for challenging workouts in the future by adding bands and weaving the bands through different number settings to get more resistance. Im Starting off slow to get used to working with bands which I’ve never done before. As I get better with the product I feel like I will have plenty of room to grow. Now if ur really in shape I can see where this wouldn’t be as much of a challenge as you might like or need. But if ur just looking for it to travel with u to get in some quick workouts when u have time this would probably work for u too. Easy and convenient to use. Portable, small and can really go anywhere. Sturdy and very well made. I really like the squat bar. Wish the foam on it was better but it’s decently made. I was looking at another similar bar that was a lot cheaper and probably better made overall but it didn’t have all the added bands, limb straps, handle bars, the base and all of video instructions. Which is why in the end I choose the BodyBoss. I do think it’s a bit overpriced but I think if they can continue to beef up the online portion that would be really worth it. They even have live stream classes u can sign up for. So that part actually seems very interesting to me and I would love to try those out. Now does this actually replace a gym membership or an in home gym? No I actually don’t think it does. For some I’m sure it will because it’s more convenient to do it in ur home than it is to try and make it to the gym every day or even a few times a week. Enough of those days of skipping the gym and then the gym membership doesn’t actually make sense anymore. So this is a good alternative in some ways. Cheaper and more convenient than a gym membership. And doesn’t take up all the space that other at home gym equipment does. I think this is a good product. With the online vids to aid getting started. And the product is advertised accurately — no surprises. The quality of the pieces are good and are made well and seem very durable. I’m hoping this lasts a long time for me. So in the end I gave full stars because I feel like this is a good system to have that I can use no matter where I move to, use it indoors or out and has a super small footprint.

Better than I thought
I bought this "portable gym" because of our gym being shut down due to the quarantine. I loved the idea of it but was skeptical since fitness equipment is usually hit or miss. There is very little learning curve and it's easy to tell how to set the resistance using the standing board. I ALMOST did not purchase it because I saw a woman saying it had too much slack and wasn't challenging, but she was using incorrectly and didn't loop the bands through to set the level. I got the set with the 2 bands but can easily get a good workout with just one by taking advantage of the level hooks. There is more diversity than they show! I use the door hook and the bar to work out my lats and lower back better than my old favorite rowing machine! It's different than what I was used to, but the fact that I have to hold it steady along with pulling, I can really feel it activating the muscle groups I'm targeting. For reference I am a woman who is physically fit and work out 5 days a week.

Great home gym option!
I love how easy it is to use this. I just wish the videos on club body boss were actually guided workouts rather than rush through versions of things.

Came for the squat bar but fell in love with the whole thing!
Purchased this over a week ago and love it! I have already completed many workouts using this product. I love the versatility of it. I can work my all my muscle group and adjust resistance to work for my strength. I originally bought it because of the squat bar! I wanted to be able to do squats at home and was looking at squat racks but HATED that they took up so much space not too mention they were pricey. I saw this and the price was right! The grips on the product are comfortable. It comes with many accessories as well. I have bought countless home gym products and I love the fact that I only need this (although if you have an inclined bench you can even do chest exercises)! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to work out at home and doesn't want to spend a fortune or is limited on space.

No make-up, no gym, no problem. It's a win win.
I was so excited to receive my BodyBoss Home Gym. There are so many times that I want to get in a workout at home, but don't have the means to. Gym equipment isn't cheap, but the BodyBoss made this possible. Early morning workouts have become easier because I don't have to worry about putting on make-up and driving to the gym which takes plenty of extra time in itself. I can wake up and already be at the gym and get my workout done right away. I also love that I am able to take this with me so easily. This makes vacationing and going places easier. I really like that I am able to do so many exercises with the BodyBoss because I can literally target everything that I need to. I can't wait to discover even more things to do with my BodyBoss! :)

Resistant Band Broke - Poor Quality & Poor Customer Service
I bought this item March 2020. I barely used it because I didn't find the fold up vectorfit platform very helpful especially when putting the bands through the metal anchors to make the resistance tougher. The movement just didn't feel smooth. So I ended up not using the platform and just used the resistance bands with the bar by attaching the bands to a door with the door anchor. As I said, I did not use it a lot, but a couple of months ago as I was using it, one band broke from the carabiner (see attached picture) and almost sent me flying backwards. Customer service was terrible to deal with. They answered me the first time via email and then decided to ignore numerous emails until I actually had to get stern and let them know I would take legal action if they continued to ignore me. They told me since my resistance band was still under warranty, they would replace the broken one with 2 new bands but in a different color. I was still a little upset at the fact that I could have seriously injured myself, so I asked as a courtesy for the risk of injury and trouble I went through if they could send me another extra band so at least I could still use the one good band I originally had ensuring that at least it wouldn't go to waste. Their response was I would have to buy another entire pair even if I was just requesting one extra band. I am not going to spend $35 on another set of bands to risk it breaking on me again. And good luck if it breaks after the warranty period...with the poor customer service I received, I would not be surprised if they would not even replace a broken band 1 day after the 1 year warranty period. As a courtesy, customer service should have provided me with an extra band to make up for the fact that, #1 I could have seriously injured myself when the band and carabiner broke off causing potential liability for them, and #2 they ignored several of my emails which was very rude and only frustrated me more. Overall, I am very dissatisfied and wish I never spent $190 on essentially a bar and 2 cheap resistance bands that may break apart from the carabiner and cause seriously injury. And then have to deal with poor customer service only by email only to have them ignore you until you're forced to threaten legal action.

Good Idea-Not So Good With Customers
This product is a great idea. I bought one and sent one as a present. They used to offer a free ClubBodyBoss.com membership, but that just disappeared. Disappointed in their lack of communication with their customers. Upset I purchased As a Christmas gift for a friend who is short on cash so she could workout from home- but less than 2 months later there is no longer an option for a free account for her. There are videos on YouTube. I’m hoping the company will get it together as it matures. It is a good product- one strong suggestion is that they start making lighter/easier resistance bands- these are definitely not beginner level- and they are missing a huge market with the aging population.
